Hi all,

I am jan 23rd applicant...my status still shows "application Received" but i got a mail from NDVO to send some additional marriage pics of d wedding ceremony by october 1st week.

This means that they have opened the file but hve not changed the status online.

Also does this mean that they will touch my file only post october 1st week?

Dear Payal9,

you can take printout - develop pictures, 50 is a good number,- write discriptions on the back reg what ritual, who is in the picture etc. and send it to NDVO. dont forget to add group pictures with parents on both sides & friends and close family.

Alternatively, you can make a photo album in word with snipets discription to the side or bottom and take printout in glossy paper(some good quality) and send it to NDVO. dont forget to add rituals & group pictures with parents on both sides & friends and close family.

Please suggest me how you all send photo? Like 50-60 printing hard copy photo need to sent or do i need to write about the ceremony at the back side of all photo?

When did they email you, and by simple ceremony you mean in temple?? U didn't have wedding in hindu tradition?

They typically have a "bring forward" date when additional documents are requested. It really varies. Some people have their apps processed right After receiving the documents. Some have it after the deadline date.

Its nothing like that, NDVO is unpredictable, they can process before that too, but send
The pictures as soon as possible, and write complete detail on back of photograph like who all were present , also send any post meetings pictures if you have a after wedding, honeymoon pics, ceremonies pictures etc??? But send around 50 to 60 pictures etc.

Can you please tell us when you filed for your application? There are quite a few threads on interview questions. Please don't stress out and get nervous. Prepare responses for all questions also review the answers on your application as well. By gods grace you will do just fine. Also apply for your notes. It will give you clues about the officers concerns

A cover letter is the best way to communicate and inform them of your details which cannot be authenticated.

All correnspondance to NDVO should have visa type applied, application date, UCI number along with application number etc and what you are enclosing etc
