Dear Payal9,

you can take printout - develop pictures, 50 is a good number,- write discriptions on the back reg what ritual, who is in the picture etc. and send it to NDVO. dont forget to add group pictures with parents on both sides & friends and close family.

Alternatively, you can make a photo album in word with snipets discription to the side or bottom and take printout in glossy paper(some good quality) and send it to NDVO. dont forget to add rituals & group pictures with parents on both sides & friends and close family.

if you need a link for the later, pm me i will send a link....Hope this helps...

Hello Payal9,

That correct from Kan_Sri.

From my side, take all regular photo prints - whether it 50 pics or 80/100 pics it must cover all you marriage event rituals /vidhi and take more public/family included in pics selection and must add both side full family group pics.

Method to represent/bind the pics:

> Write your ritual name with marker on above each pics print near to face or near to events ( example: In Pics, person present like : you, your mom, dad, brother, sister, cousin and uncle --- then write name according to that on top such that just by viewing the pic any one can judge).

> Take a fully transparent cover/file pages which have one side open in that arrange ascending order your pics from events starting to end - put only 3/4 pics in one transparent file page and arrange such that it not overwrite other pics most and staple the each pics border so that it won't move - this how you can arrange as many pics in file pages - at end bind or put good quality thread / plastic strip over this whole pics file pages as this file pages have 3 big hole on it right side border ( Just like regular file ) and tied well such that it won't remove.

> Also on main courier include : email letter that requesting this Pics, print it, also put Passport copy, also make cover letter that explain what you have attached in requesting documents and on very top include your UCI number and File Number too if you have.

Hope this help.
Thanks

I am pretty sure that CIC specifically says not to staple anything. Also they say pictures must be loose. I would just put an elastic band around the pictures to secure them. Like another member said you could print multiple pics from word onto one page and write captions on each one.

Hello guys,

I have applied on 5-Mar-2014 and reading this forum it seems I will getting something in next 2 months. But I have one concern. I myself sponsor is not in Canada for 3 months from Dec to Mar. If it comes before Nov starting, it should be fine as it will give us sometime so her PR card is received and we can travel back to India together. But if it does not come before Nov then it will be all messed up as I myself will not be here and so my wife cannot come here alone anyways. So can I request Delhi office to give me extension on my visa expiry till Mar-2014. My wife medical is expiring on 10-Jan-2014?? Can I request them to give me re-medical for this reason? Any advice what can I do here??

Thanks!

Typically the visa is valid only till the medical expiry date unless the officer at his or her own discretion decides to extend it. Are you a PR or citizen? Is your absence due to work ? Why can't she come on her own? That's a fairly long extension to ask for and I don't think they would grant it.

Thanks for a quick response!

I am PR here and I am only one here in Canada and there is no one else in my family in Canada. Will it be a good idea to email NDVO for this??

Hello guys,

Request all members to make sure they have entered their data on the spreadsheet. by sharing, it will really help rest of us get some inputs for rest of the cases.

the link is in my signature....

KanSri

PS i have tried to add information to the spreadsheet as and when i get it, but please double check and correct it. if some mistake please forgive me....just trying to help...

Since last/past month, after DM, depending on situation(medical expiry and stuff) you get a call. or else you get a PPR by email/call and then 10 day process you should get your visa!! Good luck buddy...and keep posting and help juniors out...

this thread is for Family Class Sponsorship > Topic: NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

The visa application has few stages

1) app received at CIC
2) Acknoledgement from CIC
3) Sponsorship approval
4) File transfer
5) acknowledgement from NDVO
6) ECAS status change to IN Process
7) ECAS status change to Decision Made
8) NDVO request Passport
9) Passport with visa received

All these are dates which can be entered into spreadsheet. Request all FAM category applicants to make sure they are in the spreadsheet for the benefit of all...
