I am curious what factors determine if applicant is going to get an interview or not?
Is it just random or are there any set of rules determine this?
It seems like applicants who have interviews recommended are getting most delays. Feel sorry for you guys and hopefully you guys all get your visas asap.
I just don't want any interview. This waiting game is killing me.

It definitely not random and there is most certainly a criteria they use to determine it, another member posted a great document outlining these - Dont remember who.

Sorry I dont know that. I am also trying to determine if people can get interview if the application is IP and if they can go IP before interview letter; may be other members can chime in

The chances of interview after IP are less from what I have seen on the Forum and I don't remember seeing anyone having an interview after IP.Although I am not 100% sure.

Does your husband's name have singh as a last name ?

I have seen people go in-process as soon as they get their interview letter like my friend Magicman April 2014 applicant.

If you are In-Process then 99% of time you won't receive an interview letter.

For Jaytanz, wait for 3-4 more months to receive interview letter (Nov. - Dec.)
