I know you are not in IP,I just gave you information that IP to DM is taking minimum like three months according to the current trend coz there are many people stuck in IP,only god knows what's NDVO is upto,first they make us happy giving us IP and now we all are stuck in it forever...Last two weeks have been so slow,anybody knows what's the reason behind....
Kamal did you apply for notes yet..I think I will order my notes but don't know how to do....

We got ours in 12 days..but while sending th passport the vfs rep..told us. Approximately 15-20 days

Thanx.12 working days or 12 days in total including Sunday and Saturday..

Hi all the seniors member

I am a 29th sept 2014 applicant. My husband had a meeting with MP in Canada today. He said to wait till 16 months, we can't help you before that. And the count of 16 months starts from the day application reached NDVO.

I am really fed up of waiting. Please tell me should I apply for tourist visa?? What is the procedure for that?? If in case it gets rejected will it effect my application??

What is the difference between tourist visa and visitor visa??

its one and the same...i dont thnk it effects the application coz i knw a lot of ppl applyng for it 3 to 4 times... some have managed to get trv too.. so you cld also give it a try

Hi Rose, I have one question "After how long did you get married since your husband has been in Canada?"

Actually one of my friend had love marriage too.. They got married after 7 years of relationship, but they got married with in years since she had moved to Canada permanently. And visa officer questioned the husband that he was waiting for her to get pr first? And he kept this relationship because he knew that she is going to get PR soon. that's why he waited that long. If they had that strong relationship why didn't they marry before? So visa officer had doubt that the husband got marriage just to go to Canada?

Be prepare for these type of questions can be asked if there is interview? Yes, the husband got visa after interview, i can asked what he answered to convince the visa officer if you want.

Actually I am also on same boat love marriage after long term relationship. And also please share your experience it would helpful for me in future.

even I have an 8 year relationship - so this is not good news.
bad luck I guess..
but okay, lets try to figure out what the officer was thinking:
1.how many years out of your 10 year relationship were you doing long distance?
2.did you visit your husband/did he visit you during the long distance?
3.did you stay live with him after the wedding?

rammy_xyz is right, I know somone as well who got interviewed even though they knew each other for many many years.but thats usually because they maybe have not given enough proof as to how their relationship survived while they were away from each other...

I hope your app. gets processed fast.

Notes tell you what work has been done on your file. If you are waiting in cue there is no point ordering them until about 8 months after your file was transferred to India. However, if you want to order them you can order them anytime you like.
