Does anyone does remedicals in Canada for spousal applicaiton. If so, please inform me of the procedures I need to follow. Because in the remedicals mail, NDVO mentioned that the remedicals results need to be send to India but panel physician didnt have an idea about that

i got re assessment email yesterday with same wordings,

Chest Xray (in DICOM / JPEG format) with report (in PDF)
Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISITION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in PDF)
Duly completed Re-assessment Form (in PDF/word)

Mine wz done yesterday, it wz jst chest x-ray and physical checkup by doctor, no blood or urine tests.
n i asked my doctor, if i hv to send any paper regarding re-medical, NO.
he sent the reports online and reassessment form, which is main thing.
n it wz done in india.

Hii all,

I have a query.
I did my Medical and PCC in December 2014 from Chennai. Applied for PR in March 2015 and got AOR-2 in May 2015.
I understood from the forum members that after AOR-2 it is going to take another 6 to 8 months for Passport Request.
My query is when is the ideal time for me to renew the Medical and PCC?

Am in AbuDhabi now and if I have to do these..its again an expensive trip to and fro ???
So..checking with forum members.

Appreciate all inputs and suggestions.

It's reassessment of medical,You only need to do chest X-ray and that's all..So don't worry

Thanks Sashee... But my wife is in Canada. so I have to do remedicals here in Canada. But the doctor here didnt know about this procedure and they are asking for a form with IME no. If I dont have that then they want to do all medical tests again. So I need to know if someone did remedicals in Canada for prinicpal applicant

My wife who is a Canadian has sponsored me under Family Class Sponsorship. We submitted our application on 8th April 2014. This is also shown on CIC website. They have also received my medical report. This information is also available on CIC website. I have also paid the landing fees. But I have not received any further communication from them until now. It has been 15 months from the date of receipt of application by CIC. Please advise what shall we do? It is now making me more worried.

Hi,

Its better to wait till CIC requests you to do medicals and PCC again.
You should be able to do medicals as well as get ur PCC in Abu Dhabi itself instead of travelling to India.
Find out the panel physician who does e-medicals and also enquire about the procedure to get ur PCC done from the Indian consulate directly or they may have outsourced certain services to other consultancy.
