hey fiza n all those who r waiting for interview letter...hope u get ur letters soon...
I gave my interview last month 15 May (I am Jan 2014 applicant) and since then my ecas status has changed to IP that's it, nothing else no updates no ppr, I gave my remedicals before interview without request letter and at interview they accepted my re-medical letter.
I dunno how long they take to pass background & criminality checks etc...

all those u gave interview, pls reply in how much time u got passport request after interview date?
the waits r definitely killing

i am a september applicant too. This wait is killing now. i have hardly seen any updates since last two weeks. Don't know what NDVO is upto?? this wait seems to be endless... ??? ???

I am thinking there is no updates because each case is different. Maybe some cases are not too straightforward -i.e. spouse has lived in several countries etc.

I really hope for the straightforward cases, the timeline of 6 months for IP after reaching NDVO is still valid...

Is interview mandatory for spousal applicants?? If not wtz the criteria

I know it really gets frustrating. But looking at the brighter side - the latest quarterly update for india is still 16 months in comparison to the other countries where they increased it by few months. Sooner or later our files will move forward.

I am also surprised at the order of the files that are being processed. I am an 18th sept applicant and nothing so far whereas 16th sept applicant is in process since June 1st. This delay is ringing bells. Hope all is fine. Keeping patience is the only option we all have. Good luck !
