I sent Spiker an inbox just now. He will fix it soon.

Forgot to thank him at the end I think....so "Thank you Spiker"

Thanks Magicman.

Let me know if you get any update.....your and mine application dates are pretty close. Do you suggest I should go for another MP inquiry?

I will also be getting my fresh set of Notes next week. Will see if there is any update. This wait id driving me crazy >:( >:( >:(

Avneet got the interview call, she is a Feb Applicant. I think they are working on files in Interview Queue but are taking way too long. Dont know how long they will take to reach april or may files. From Avneet's case looks like 1 year and 3 months so hopefully by or before August everyone should get an Interview call/letter.

I may be wrong but nothing wrong in pacifying myself. :-[ :-[ :-[ ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Hi everyone,

I got my notes which I ordered 2 weeks after I got In process.

Eligibility : Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: In progress
Medical: Passed

Does the status of security ever get changed or I read somewhere that it does not get updated due to confidentiality.
Does anyone's Security status show In progress or passed ??
They have also done CPIC checks, RCMP screening. So if you ever visited Canada better to send RCMP check along with application.

RCMP is not mandatory because they will do the check themselves using name and DOB but if they get a hit on your name they will request fingerprints later. Ink Fingerprints are done outside Canada and it takes 6 months for the result. Whereas digital fingerprinting is done only within Canada and results take 3 days.

So all who are visiting Canada consider doing an RCMP check before leaving.

Avneet got her Interview letter in 14 month....I was hoping for the same. As per calculation I should have got something by now but still no news :( :( :(

Disappointed, frustrated, stressed all these words seems meaningless in front of what we are going through.

Hello, we have applied on 26 Nov 2014.
I spent around 11 months on student visa in Canada in year 2009 and then returned back to India.
I applied for RCMP from India and private company took my fingerprints on paper, then scanned and sent to RCMP.
My wife (Canada PR) got my Police clearance certificate from RCMP in 22 days in Canada by mail, and we attached / put in our application file.
We already submitted so that later on they (CIC or NDVO) might ask for Canada PCC along with India PCC.
Will they (CIC or NDVO) delay our file ? Does Canada PCC checking takes time as you mentioned 6 months time period.
It's already 6 months since our application filed, I think CIC or NDVO might have checked Canada PCC in their criminality record.
Do I need to apply for notice to check what is happening in our case ?
I am frustrated and confused.
Please kindly reply.

I got 35 pages. If you are in India, my suggestion is don't do RCMP check without request. You may not even need it. Also they may request for the results to be directly sent to them instead of you obtaining and then mailing it out.

Don't worry about it !!

RCMP screening is mentioned as a sub activity under Criminality.
"CPIC checks initiated.." is mentioned towards end of the pdf under NOTES: 1

You are lucky to have got your RCMP check quickly. You have done a wise thing by submitting it initially. The guide says to submit clearances for all countries except Canada but later as per their whim they request it again.

I think you are good for now. Wait for 8 months from application received date to apply GCMS notes. Before that its very rare there will be anything mentioned. It will be frustrating to see no progress :-(

Here is the link which gives the processing time.

CSIS checks are also done as part of Security. More info here..

I'm curious to know if they're giving conditional PR or normal. Any experiences/knowledge on the matter?

It will be mentioned in notes under Eligibility Assessment.

How much time it will take to reach november 2014 applicants ? So disgusting NDVO works very slow.
