It doesn't say that PCC never expires another person got asked for PCC since it expired
I agree dolly parmar we can't say anything for sure when ndvo is involved.
For medicals validity period is explicitly mentioned. In the absence of such a statement for pcc we can assume there is no expiry after it is sent. But it must be valid at the time of application.
If cic asks for it without mentioning a reason we can point out that it was already sent. Cic is known for losing documents as well as asking for pcc for countries which was visited just for few days.
When cic requests something or in cases where they don't even request , people have started doing things proactively in fear of more delay which is understandable. But we are contributing significantly in setting a trend.
At end of day each one is concerned about only their application which is ok. Then later there is no point in raising petitions to change the process.
It is after all because of our ancestors who used the family sponsorship to gain fraudulent entry , we are suffering the extra scrutiny and delay. Individuals who left their spouses after landing got reported. God knows whether they were deported or not but definitely their application must have been analyzed and guidelines set for screwing future apps. So what we do affects future applicants. We keep doing medicals proactively ndvo is going to stop sending remedicals and next year processing time will be 24 months.
Earlier people used to request for medicals to be extended and cic used to acknowledge. Saves times and money.
Just my thoughts .....
