I believe it's mentioned in the letter that they would have sent you (when they requested for medicals of your new born baby). In case if it's not then my guess is you have 30 days to comply. Don't delay it, the earlier the better. Good luck!

please tell me as my medical going to expire on 20 May this month, should I go for it again like on 25 May.. And one more thing, is it necessary to do remedical with the same physician who did it before or we can change the doctor??

YOu can get your medicals/re-medicals with any doctor in any part of the world as long as they are CIC panel doctors. As for getting re-medicals done or not, a number of members have posted their experiences/suggestions etc., based on which you take your decision. Asking us may not help as everyone will have a different approach to this problem.

Draxz you are just like me I went to india for a month in dec and I applyed for my wifes PR on same date as you. Are you in Surrey by chance? Was your wedding day also August 16?

The way NDVO is working so slow ....seems like our turn (In process status) will come around late Oct or Nov 2015 or may be Dec 2015.
We applied on 26 Nov 2014. After spouse-sponsorship approval by CIC Mississauga on 5 March 2015.....we have not received any email from NDVO regarding AOR2.

Well, since it's not mentioned in the letter, I would act on it more quickly since time is essence and time is money. I would not waste any more time on this.

It's any body's guess aka GOK - God Only Knows... hard to say Rozi. My wife's medicals expired in Feb and so far there is no news of remedicals or to that matter when her PPR will be called for. Every day is a torture and it's hard for us to predict if you would receive a letter for re-medicals or not. Alternatively if you don't wish to wait then you can have a re-medicals done.

Same here buggleboy, even my medicals had expired in feb bt so far no news at all frm dem..m waiting for next month as it wud b 15th month n i hav heard dat medical cant b extended more dan 15 months so m hoping sumthing next month frm dem 4 sure..

The processing time from NDVO is 16 months; 16 months from the day file arrives in NDVO and not from the day we send the file to CPC-M. So in your case you have just crossed 13 months and hope you get it soon. It's too slow a country to process applications and never expected this from a G7/advanced nation as such. Very very poor standards and no one to question these arse holes

Rozi I think d4d has given a perfect answer 2 dis remedical question..



for remedical, when they send you the letter it has a IME number that you have to give to the hospital/doctor doing the examinations. they then upload the result directly onto the e-medical system and NVDO is able to see it themselves without you even informing them.

If you were to do the remedical without that letter, then firstly you would be considered as a new applicant upfront medical and need to do a full medical examination and not just the chest x ray. They will then give you a print out which has a IME number on it that the system generated. This copy you will then have to forward to NVDO, they will need to open and go through the mail and manually update in their system with the new IME number.

It's basically my wife's medicals as she is being sponsored by me. She is planning to get it done soon.
