I am April 2014 applicant, just wondering if anyone knows (or from experience) after remedical, how long does it take to get PPR. I got it done last Thursday, next day after the request as they wanted it within 7 days. Thanks in advance!

Hello i m may 2014 applicant nd new to this forum..i m unable to check my status like i dnt knw whether my file is transfered to delhi or not. Actually my husband added me in his file of permanent residency at the time wen cic requested him to submit his passport so now both of us will get PR 2gether. so please advise me how can i check my status

My wife got PPR on Thursday night and deposited her passport in Jallandar Visa office.

Congrats to all who got IP DM n ppr......I got IP since Feb 6 got med req n we got it done on Feb 24 does anyone have an idea how long it will take to get DM n ppr?

I also have a lawyer as a representative. My lawyer is the one who received PPR,then he forwarded to us. It'll be better to talk to him and see whats going on ...

We have reached him, he said that wait for few days as sometimes it takes few days to get PPR. So dont have an option.

Guys, i guess there is a genuine reason why PPR's are getting delayed.
I had seen an adv for job of Passport Officer at NDVO, almost a month back.
It seems they are short of staff there :'(

Any reason why you think it is necessary? Do you have an interview scheduled? Just curious. This wasn't necessary as far as I know.

Yes You are right even my lawyer suggested it makes our case more slow by sending papers again and again..
