does NDVO update the "medical" and "in process" at the same time...
Or first they update the Application received to Medical received then after some weeks change the status to "in process"...
my file is at AR still...
Is there anybody who got status changed from AR to MR.....
then AR & MR........to........ ..IN PROCESS

........it is a sign of interview if status change from Application received to Medical received then ,...... nothing happens for a week.....or more.....

plz help feel panicked...

im july 26,,2013 applicants interview recommended 4 months b4 according to GCMS NOTES,,yesterday i got reply from MP saying that long queue for interview at new delhi so cannot say timeline //

hi dear for how long you stuck into the background check I am also in the same boat do u have any travel history? In July I got the letter which says they are doing background check since that no news I have travel history Cyprus and Austria

if u hav any idea....my passport expires in around 3 months n visa is expected in around 2 months.....the officer handed over d passport after interview for remedical......so should i send my passport for renewal soon or afterwards?

interview went well.....just asked for more evidences n few questions abt relationship n families.....nothin out of d questions earlier posted here by previous members

If your passport is in your hands get it renewed under tatkal. It is a blessing in disguise. Generally for giving a Visa they expect six month minimum validity of the passport. They will check only at the time of affixing visa and in all probability they will send the passport to you for renewal.

sunsweet - It does show that you did get DM after 2 months after re-medical. (so they took two months to get visa issued, did you have any travel history?)
