I want to stand corrected on my earlier comments..So your PR validation and rest of immigration formalities were done at Pearson?

hey my immigration and other stuff was done In Montreal airport not Toronto as my port of entry was Montreal.. took me 5 min in the immigration section coz the officer didn't ask me anythin. He took my passport n landin papers stamped my pp asked me to write my initial n sign in three pages.. gave me my copies n said u will get ur pr in 3 months n welcome to canada gave a smile that's about it n I was out from there... then I went to connection showed my boarding pass... got my gate number..put my luggage on transfer belt n went to my gate to board my flight for Toronto. .

I believe they send it with your passport after stamping Visa.

Lets say the person get their visa/landing paper in India but can he/she travel from some other country?? Bcz my husband is from Afghanistana and he wants to go back home ones he gets his visa from NDVO and then come to canada. Would that work?
