does NDVO update the "medical" and "in process" at the same time...
Or first they update the Application received to Medical received then after some weeks change the status to "in process"...
my file is at AR still...
Is there anybody who got status changed from AR to MR.....
then AR & MR........to........ ..IN PROCESS

........it is a sign of interview if status change from Application received to Medical received then ,...... nothing happens for a week.....or more.....

plz help feel panicked...

normal procedure is application received to medical results received (sometimes ecas shows both together) and then in process (for every rule NDVO has an exception...some people never see medical results received until the end of the process)...you are ok... in my experience my partner's ecas showed 'application received' and 'medical results received' together till the end of the process...no one has seen 'remedicals received' status in their ecas as far as i know

I am feb 2014 applicant and my status is IP since sept 9 almost 2 and half months, i did email enquiry and after 3 days got a call from ndvo asking about my hubby's stay in UK as he stayed there for 5 months 3 yrs back and the person calling asked him his DOB and how long he stayed in UK he told him that he stayed for 5 months only then my hubby asked him that how long he has to wait for PPR he replied- "jalad hi apko yeh news milegi".Call was received 10 days ago

so i want to know how long it can take, any person with same experience or seniors please help.

congrats rk sandhu.. finally god blessed. i have been intermitently going thru this blog. am in canada, landed in sep. received PR card after 40days. everything is expensive here guys. u earn u spend. thats the logic here. get all the necessary things when u travel frm india.

Hey guys.. I reached Toronto. Immigration went too smooth.. They didn't ask me a single question also hehe in Montreal. He spoke in English not french as I thought and just asked me to put my initial n signature n no questions at all. I was done in 5 min and thus easily boarded my Toronto flight after that... all the best to everyone

hey don't worry dear its normal..in past dere are lots of applicants dere status changed AR to MR after few days and this didn't mean dat its a sign of interview. ..its just shows dat dese morons are lazyyy...
so just now waiting when ur status chnged to IP. ..all d best

A final Update from my end . Finally received my Passport with visa .This never ending wait would not have been possible without any of you guys support. Here is my last OMG moment...received passport wid NOT SO SHINY VISA..
seriously this ugly piece of paper apart us for 2 precious years of my married life...

SO HERE IS MY 14 MONTHS JOURNEY-
WE applied in 26 august 2013 [after dat recieved SA and PPR after one month]-
when we received PPR at dat time we are so happy,we think dat we sure got my visa within 3 months.at dat time i m pregnant and after dat started planning for delivery in canada.
BUT.........we dont know dat they chnged d process...so after wait for few months our dreams shattered.

In Jan give Birth to a baby boy-In feb applied his canadian citizenship certicate.on june we received it and after dat apply his passport..and on july we receieved it.. [SO HIS WHOLE PROCESS COMPLETE WITHIN 6 MONTHS BCOZ HE IS CANADIAN NOT LIKE US INDIAN]
After dat in july received remedical req..on august they send PP size pics req but missed due to our lawyers careless behavior..we received it after 1 and half month [SO THIS DELAY WASTED MY 3 MONTHS]
ON 3rd NOV MONDAY recieved phone call from delhi embassy to confirm DOB and address
on 6th NOV THUSDAY ecas changed my address [first it was my lawyers address]
on 8th NOV SATURDAY status chnged to DM [after 5 days to phn call]
On 10th NOV MONDAY recieved NOT SO SHINY VISA..
sooo after 2 years of relationship
20 months after marriege
14 months n 15 days since we applied
3 GCMS notes,,3 MP enquiry,,lots of emails
[NOTE: EVERY TIME WE DONE MP ENQUIRY WE HEAR GUD NEWS,,1st IN JUNE AFTER 10 DAYS REMEDICAL REQ,,2nd IN JULY AFTER 1 WEEK RECEIVED PHOTOS REQ,,3rd NOW IN OCT LAST AND RECEIVED AFTER ONE WEEK PHONE CALL]SO DONT THINK SO ITS A COINSIDENCE...

Cant explain how i feel rightnow...THANK U ALLLLL MY BUDDIES...you guys are my strength not i M

PS-DONT WORRY GUYS I M STILL HERE..HUBBY COMING IN THIS WEEK SO WE WILL GOING BACK IN JAN OR FEB...WISH U ALL HEARTIEST GUD WISHES...
