chance of getting a visitor visa for a spouse is very SLIM.. but few members have got it....

there is a coloum in schedule A background if you had a canada visa rejected. hence apply for SPOUSAL VISA FIRST and then answer NO for that QUESTION....then apply for visitor visa.......that would be better...

oother seniors can comment.....first apply for spousal PR.....and then for visitor visa...goood luck...

Is it advisable to get a visitor visa before applying for spouse visa, as it takes long time for getting the spouse visa. Does it affect the spouse visa application if we have the visitor visa?

and one thing we can accept that if i have bakgrund history from 3,4 countries or its my secound marrige but there is nthng like that in my case.. I dnt knw why its taking too much time as m getting same ans, doing backgrd chks from may2014.. M also confused they are doing something with our files or just kept aside n giving same ans to every1

same story in everybodys life...you are still in AR. ..on the other side we are in IP but again looks like AR situation. ..after AR they send us just dat rremedical request nothing else. ..its 4th month start but still no change in our life. ..
so dese morons just look at dere 15 months timeline nothing else..
so don't think too much buddy its become ur life hell..

Really cursing them and their families so that they understd how painful it is to stay away from our loved one.

Same here, we shouldn't really worry about the Status on ECAS as they don't always update that. But they really are taking a lot of time to work on 2013 applications. The reason is because they would like to show that they have completed certain percent of applications in less time for their quota to look good.

We 2013 and before that are all suffering. But we should still be glad it is moving slowly at least unlike some other offices where they wait for 33 months for the full process. we are still hopeful it will be done in two years the max. If it took longer then it would suck.

just few days back my 12 months completed when they submit my passport...the funny thing is for become a Canadian I m not Indian anymore bcoz I don't hv my passport the major proof is i m an Indian. ..lolz

my baby is getting old day by day without knowing dat who is papa...so when I thought this kind of things I m being sad all the time but we just spoiled our lifes to thinking whole day about this visa...I m not much interested this not so shiny visa...even its been days when I didn't look at ecas anymore. ..

hey relax buddy dere are more Dec applicants left. ..the thing is we all are here under the roof of 2013 you are not alone so don't say dese kind of things. ..just see at us when all the other august applicants already reached in Canada on this May. ..now Oct going nd i m still here.. ;D

Ya true but the IP people atleast have the clarity that the interview is waived off... where as we don't have that Not sure if we have an interview or not.. Since i am an ADR applicant..i am assuming that i don't have to attend an interview and also the recent response from MP and embassy is - file is still under initial review but they did not say IN QUEUE for interview(Blessing in Disguise).. based on the above said situational analysis i am guessing & hoping i will not have to attend the interview but God and the NDVO only knows what's happening with the file..

yes agree wid u...last year few of my frds got direct passport wid visa when there ecas still shows AR. ..I think those guys are damn Lucky. ..not like us first 11 months passed to tortured in AR and after in IP. ..

yes I thinkin IP only this thing is positive dat u don't hv an interview nothing else. ..so don't worry ur 15 months over in next month before dat u sure hear gud news...

Quite right same story...can some one please throw a light on the medical thing..is it true that they extend the medicals for one month?

in past yes they extended it...but now after few days passed when ur medical expires and they send u remedical request. ..and hang ur file for few months. ..so not sure bro nowadays they extend it.
