I know this might not help you a lot, but here is what I believe causing the delay. BTW I posted this prediction about six weeks ago, and the way NDVO is working make it seems very accurate.

More than 80% of 2013 applications have been processed, and if you look at CIC spreadsheet, they report time they took to complete first 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% cases.
They never report time they took for 90% or 100% cases in their spreadsheets. This means that they don't have to answer to anyone for last 20% of the cases, so they take their own sweet time processing those files. Unfortunately we are the remaining 20%

Why 2014 is faster? Cuz they haven't reached the 80% mark.

I tried explaining this to MP, but he thought I am just making issues because I am frustrated, and told me to have some patience.
Guys, once again I am requesting you to write an email to NDVO, cc to minister and MPs (maximum number). This is not our fault that medical expired, its their fault.
and 80/20 principle sucks, how are they deciding the 20% group, how could they put re-medical applicants into that group.
Re-medical applicants are done with everything, their files have been processed already, just for a strategy they are held for maximum limit (15 months), their visas have been already approved unless they are a security threat to country. You can read immigration standards. If they had doubt about these applicants, there must have been an interview instead of re-medical.

one more thing I never understood, if next month CIC change processing time to 10 years, it should be applicable to everybody or applicants applying from that day onwards...just common sense, which has become a super intelligence these days.

nobody can understand how they work in ndvo if you have travel history then it may take some time otherwise no reason to delay your application its totly unfair even my wife cozen working for cic Mississauga but she never help us they are very very rude

I dont have any travel history apart from staying in Qatar for 3 months for office project.. and 3 months history is nothing it has to be 6 months and above then only we need to submit PCC from that country so technically travel history.

its a second marriage for me n my spouse n filed in november 2013. we have been recently asked to submit detailed petition for d first divorce. we submitted only degrees first. why did they ask for detailed documents. whats d purpose?

what kind of questions are asked for interviewing second marriage applicants. becas we hav interview as per gcms.

what can we do once d official 15 months period is over without any update. kindly suggest

dont need to worry about that they always call for interview in second marriage case they will ask you why first marriage is dissolved and why you chose this one sometimes they are very rude but you don't need to be worry about that it's better if your spouse can join you

How NDVO wi send my passport ? Via India post or blue dart? Got call on 1st October for verification.

The passport is sent by them through Register Post, Indian Postal Service. There is a process delay of few days 1 to 3 in getting the visa stamping and preparing the docket for despatch and leaving it at the despatch section. The despatch section despatches based on the public holidays time of receipt in the section etc. Then usual movement of post by the Indian Postal Service and delivery routine. These in all takes depending on these factors 3 to 2 week maximum.
With Gandhi jayanthi, Dussera, week end the despatch may be delayed a bit so dont worry you will get in 7 to 10 days time.
In the meantime prepare for your journey,ticket planning, things to carry list, document for the landing preparation etc

sunsweet is absolutely right. ..so just relax. .have lil bit pateince more...the gud thing is u r just one week left when I kicked out of here...not like other people who are stuck in IP for so many months. ..
