What you think they dont know how badly theyare torturing 2013 applicants as if we all did some crime that our medical expired. Really cursing them every passing day the way they are treating us is really nt fair. Even god is partial. can't he see whom to give preference 2014 or 2013 applicants.

Only a couple of more days left for the month end rather year end. So all the applications in this list will get DM. Let us pray for the arrival of DM/Visa

I see here that all remedical applicants have received in process after they were requested the medicals. Is there a way they can ask for the remedicals even after we have got in procesS??

gulzar ji started this thread and left after he got his visa..i will answer questions that you have asked him, if you don't mind

1. if you are a canadian PR, you can stay as long as you want after you, as a sponsor, have been approved based on eligibility criteria. However, if you are a canadian citizen then CIC would want to know if you are planning to permanently live in India. You can show them that you had significant ties (owned house; letter from landlord saying that you have agreed to move back to his/her house after the visa approval process is over; job offer when you go back...things like that)

2. No they won't question unless you are a citizen. If you have met your PR requirements then you are free to live in India (say you just renewed your PR card then you have five years validity. Before it expires, you must have stayed in canada 2 out of 5 years to meet PR eligibility)

3. you both can go back together (if the canadian immigrations asks then you can tell them you had decided to stay back until your spouse got PR visa)

Let me correct you on this note.
If you are a Canadian citizen first of all u need Indian Visa and you cant stay in India for more than 6 months if you want to extend yr stay in India for more than 6 months you have inform foreign affair ministry.
If you OCI Status you can stay as long as you want even you can work there buy property (not farming land).
If you are PR holder you are only allowed to leave Canada for 6 months time period t hen you have return back, if you stay longer these CBSA people and immigration in Canada will stop you at Border ask freaking so many question .
so please don’t make it complicated, plan everything properly as you have sponsored also and have an interview too. As we all r going through same phase but this time be over soon for all of us.

Got IP yesterday... Interview was on 22nd september,did remedicals on 23rd september.. Got ip yesterday... Nw hw much time it will take to get dm????

Most of us here are in the same situation.. IP to DM take unusually long time now.. not sure why..

its take exactly 30 days for my last 2 notes. ..so in 3 or 4 days you will sure received it...

M so frustrated that not able to do nething...

In this whole wait, many times I have felt why I decided to move here. Canada is not the greatest of places. I was also carried away by what other people said about Canada. But I am seeing the facts after coming here. Winter here is terrible.. City of Toronto is such an expensive place to live. Not much of savings compared to US. I don't know.. I may not be here for long if something good doesn't happen soon. They say they have free medical system once we have the PHIP cards, but the doctors here seem to be so useless. I have heard this complaint from many of my friends who had gone for treatments for various problems.. Doctors don't react quickly. I am sure Indian doctors are 1000 times better. Another big issue is the education system. no proper rules.. kids roaming around with cigarettes in their hand.. i am scared looking at them. i don't want my kid to be in school with these kids.. man.. if i think all this, i sincerely feel my life in India was far better staying with family and having all kind of comfort.. affording a car in Toronto is a big deal. you can buy a car, but insurance rates are sky high. I know some guys who pay unto $450 per month, which is a real rip off. I should have either stayed in US or continued to live in India..

person who posted the question was asking about problems from canadian side so i did not address indian side..thanks for clarifying it...as for PR holder staying in India there is no law from CIC that says he/she can only stay in India for 6 months...according to many lawyers that I have consulted their response was as long as one meets PR requirements one can stay as long as he/she wants.....I have stayed out of country for more than 8 months and we will see what happens when i get back in...one thing i am not sure is if health coverage will be available for people who stay out of canada for more than 6 months..
