Hi Sheeba


I am August 2013 applicant, I applied in August 2013 received sponsorship approval in March 2014, Received ADR request in May 2014 since then no update. When contacted MP for the status update recently a week back they replied stating its still under initial review. Mine is still application received not even IN PROCESS till date,I am also sailing in the same boat of frustration and helplessness. My medicals will expire in March. Fingers crossed i just pray they will not drag it to that an extent of expiry of my medicals.Keeping faith in god.

created date 18-11-2013 [when they tranfer ur file according to ur timeline]
status-review required [i think now the review is over or maybe dats y they asked u for interview]
status date 7-7-2014 [i think they opened ur file and working on it]
due date 18-11-2014 [i think before dat due date ur interview will b over]

Wat does ur latest notes say...wake up ndvo plzz...we need our life back..

Sharing my spouse's timeline here :
We received application for permanent residence on September 5, 2013.
We started processing application on August 23, 2014.
Medical results have been received. (this was updated last tuesday, 16th sept,2014)

Any idea what the average waiting time is for us re-medical cases?

Any forum member(s) who've been issued their visas and were re-medical cases, care to share their timeline ?

Also, once the visa has been issued, what is the time frame in which the applicant has to enter canada?

it takes more than 6 weeks to change status after remedicals received (some in this forum have been waiting for change of status too long)..check timelines on the left side of the pane or spreadsheet to see how long it takes to change from 'in process' to 'DM' after remedicals received....if remedicals you will be given a year to land from the date remedicals received.....

Gulzar Ji,
1.Can you please tell me how long can I stay in India if I go along with my husband for the interview.
2. Can I stay in India until his visa is stamped? Wouldn't they question me that why I am not in canada??
3.Shouldn't I be here when he is landing after his visa is stamped? ?
Please reply ASAP as we need to book tickets for me if I decide to go with him for the interview.
