Hi All,

What Does In process means, Does it mean they doing background and criminal checks. Also, Is there any chance of getting ADR and Interview request when the applicant is in 'In process'.

From this 2013 forum, my understanding is it may take anywhere from one week to 3 months for status change from In process to Decision Made. Is it faster for person with no travel history in his passport.

I appreciate your answers and help & thanks.

'in process' means that they have opened your file and looking at it...so far people in this forum whose status went to 'in process' did not have interview..nothing more than that..the disappointment arises among the forum members thinking just because it is 'in process' it means they will get visa in one week after it went to 'in process' stage...theoretically a person without travel history should get passport with visa faster since if a person travels to one country for three days, i don't think they do background checks for three days stay...

no we want ur speech... ;D we was waited this moments for so many days...what if u disappear without a speech bcoz ur 2000 complete and now no guarantee that u will b active. ..so give ur raahu kethu speech..

I don't get ur point. ..what do you mean-you mean about passport with visa or something else. .

My Decision was made on June 25. Till date I haven't received any letter nor email from NDVO. It is just ridiculous what is taking them so long to send the decision. I have my passport with me, they returned it when i had an interview.

thats weird. ..ur status changed to DM and they didn't asked for passport...was ur status changed to IP after the interview. .??

Yes it changed to IP, right after interview, within few days it was DM. My Medicals are expired too..so dont knw where i stand ritenow...

Hi aroundwrd99 can u pls tell me ...did they return ur passport at the time of interview or they never asked for ur passport....did they ask for your remedical after the interview?????
