Got my pp today, 2 days after DM… i have a doubt regarding the confirmation of landing document. can someone help?

there is a field for country of residence. i was an NRI of x country but after marriage came to india, filed application and lived here. in my landing document, in field of country of residence, it is x country. i was a PR of that country but i cancelled it when i filed the application in india. shouldn't it be india for my country of residence? i hope once i land in canada, those officers there can correct it??

Applied on 9th july.. Had mailed them to knw exact status of my application..

which date dis you mailed? Did you mentioned the whole scenario that your application went back to application received from in process?

oh sorry dear...I was told earlier that you should book ticket on 28 or 29 July...bcoz they are totally idiots they don't know what they are doing. .issue visa and forget to send passports...duffers

Sorry to hear you had to cancel your ticket. I think perhaps you acted hastily in booking your tickets particularly when you know you are dealing with NDVO. But neverthless, i predict your PP will be in your hand on 28th July.

Hello - I have the following question for advise/comments from anyone but preferably from seniors:

I have everything I need to apply in August 2014 for except PCC from 2 countries incl. India. I though we could only apply once we have everything. Should I apply now in hoping that i'll get PCCs soon which I can then forward to NVDO? Would my application move from CIC Mississauga to NVDO without PCCs?

yes your application move without pcc's..apply as soon as possible and when in a month or 2,, you got ur pcc's then send it to ndvo's..sometimes they also asked later about fees or pcc..so its not a big deal..if it is possible then apply in july..gud luck

Dont know what r they doing with my application...everytime i open my ecase i find teh same status teasing me ...

how many oct applicant still waiting ...think some of them who got in process also are not replying ..

God please show some miracle...

as your medical expires in a month so maybe there are two options- they will call you to fly before urmedical expires and they will send you remedical request. ..if ur case is strgt forward then they will apply first option wish you hear something soon. ..

Officers may not be able to correct it. But in my opinion, while filing out the landing docs at the Canada airport, if you mention your residence country correctly, it should not be a big deal. Anyway, once u get ur PR card in Canada, all this wont matter. Relax and have a happy blessed married life.

How much time NDVO taking to send re-medical request mail after medical expire date? my medical will expire on 5th August,2014.

My case is also straight frwd after sending ADR..and medical is going to expire on 5th August. what do u thinking on my case? Only 10 days remaining for medical expire...
