That may be true but i want to tell about us. In our case we too had a small wedding with a small reception, nothing fancy at all with just 35 people in total,, my parents, my best friends and 2 family relatives...that's it, My husband'd parents couldn't make it due to you know long distance and money issues.. But I didnt get any interview and my status changed to IN Process just recently after 9 months of application filed..

hey Neha, would you mind sharing how long do you guys know each other before marriage and how much time did you spend together after marriage, honeymoon etc, just wanted to get an idea about weak/strong points I mean how NDVO concluded your relation.

Sure, We met online on June 2011, it started on from there..I mean knowing each other ..falling in love and then deciding to get married. He came to see me for the first time to India in Sep 2012 for 2 weeks and we got formally engaged too then. Next he came to visit me and get married to me in March 2013 and this time he stayed with me for 5 weeks.. We didn't have a proper honeymoon coz Pedro got sick because of hot weather in India so we stayed most of the time during his second visit in Nainital with my parents in my house..but yes we did take a trip together to Agra in his first visit and to Chennai for my niece's first birthday in his second visit.. We didnt give any hotel bills, restaurant bills, coz we didnt know we had to.. we always threw them away so the only proof we provided were 500 pictures, 100 emails, 100 pages of bbm chats, screen shots of video chats, facebook summary of our relationship and yes letters from his parents and mine stating that they know about us and are happy for us and our relationship, we got this letter attested by a lawyer too..Hope this helps

woww neha, wat a nice love story, I am sure visa officer must have been convinced at very first instance and infact I feel good that they gave importance to love and relationship and not just rituals n crowd, btw I never heard about this kind of letters but sounds like a good idea for new applicants.

Been in real relation for 4 years and i really didnt had much proof of our relation. All i had was old email and couple pics when i went india firrt time in 2013. I do have my wife's pictures with my mom and my sister in law and sister. Does this mean i m on red flag?
Can any one suggest?
I sent my secret mrg pics and explained everything about our relation too.

It could be a red flag.. but if see at the positive side since you have explained everything well may be they would understand your situation though this is slightly doubtful.. Hope everything turns out good for you

IS there any june applicant who are still waiting their visa or it is just me almost 2 months after re-medical and still in-process so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to let other October 2013 applicants know I got an ADR today, so NDVO is still working on October files.
My case will be on hold till they open it again (in about six weeks I am guessing as other ADRs).

Most of October applicants should expect at least IP in next 10 days.

What an uncertain system.

A lot of October cases haven't been dealt with yet, but it seems that NDVO is working faster these days.
I am sure that rest of October applicants who didn't get any update yet will hear from them soon.

Looking at historical data, it's not and let's hope that NDVO won't make your case an exception
