Hi Pearl786, Which date did you get ADR ? When did you sent and when did they receive. What was the dead line given by NDVO to submit ADR. Please revert, Thanks...

Hi, Driving licence is the most important thing in the beginning to start your life in Canada . If you have an Indian license , go to your local RTO office and get the NOC certificate , in which it should state that your license has been issued on so and so date as per their record. They do have the format about this NOC certificate.
After having this NOC letter it will help you allot in Canada. You can directly go for the road test ( depends in which province you are going to reside )

Take a letter of your driving experience (should be more than 24 months atleast) from your local RTO. Then once you reach Canada, you have to give written test (G1) which is easy to pass and then straight test for full driving licence (G licence) .Your in between test (G2) gets waived off if you show them the letter of experience from INDIA. So it saves you time and a test as well otherwise first G1, then G2 and wait for 1 year to give G test. Hope its helpful.

I am going to Vancouver. ..in my license its written that its valid from 2009 to 2027...the RTO office issued NOC certificate direct or I will give them some driving tests...?

You just need a letter of experience from RTO, no tests or lessons, they will give you the driving experience letter which will have all your details like name, d.o.b ,driving licence no , no of years you have been driving and what sort of vehicle you can drive like car etc.(its easy to apply)
