I need some advice from the experienced members of this forum.
What according to you is the right time to apply for GCMS notes? Should I apply now or should I wait some time more?
Please suggest.

If you want you can apply it now, it would take 30-45 days and by that time you will get your visa, so instead do a MP enquiry which is quick

Hello Folks, I have small query , If someone has already a valid tourist visa of Canada, then will NDVO issue the other visa or it will valid to re enter as Permanent resident ??

After a hard and arduous wait ... i finally received my passport today....its finally over...the waits over ....still cant believe its true...me and my husband couldnt have been more happier !!! a million thanks to God!

Hi Does anyone know if I need to do PCC again before landing in Canada to show the immigrations officer? I had already submited pcc a year back to nvdo with all documents when applying for the visa. I was jst wondering If they might want to see it again when I land in Canada?

No...once you get out of India, block all correspondences from NDVO (not that they are anxious to know about your landing experiences and want to help you with finding jobs, driver's licenses, etc)...so bye bye PCC; health evaluation and remedicals and other nonsenses from NDVO..

Can NDVO call the applicant on Saturday? Does anyone know if it has happened in the past? I remember popey100's wife got a call from NDVO but I don't remember the day, maybe it was a friday.
Do they work on Saturday?

IP means they have opened your file and started working on your file...once the status changes to 'IP' it is more likely that interview has been waived (as far as forum members listed on the spreadsheet but outside the forum I don't know if this trend holds true) as far as NDVO...but with NDVO nothing is 100% certain (as with everything in life) that everyone who goes into 'IP' would be interview free...

his wife got a call on june 26th (he writes my wife woke me up to tell me that she got a call...so i assume it was the same day when he wrote his post)..june 26th was not saturday...someone changes the ecas status on saturdays/sundays in the past and now it is mondays...so I assume it is a dedicated visa officer who forgoes his sunday morning rituals and duly reports to office and works until his boss who works until midnight could not take seeing this visa officer suffering so much and he sends him home (yeah, right, a government worker working on sundays until midnight..lol)..I assume it is more likely an outsourced private company who makes its workers to come on saturdays and sundays to change ecas statuses...NDVO may not call you on saturdays but be prepared anyway and carry your landline phone with a long cord wherever you go...
