oh no not again....i thought this issue was over when meghana left for canada....i got to rethink about my plans of staying here until every member of 2013 gets his/her visa...

by representative I assume you mean MP and not your lawyer..go ahead and ask your MP to find out the status of your application...what are you going to loose iexcept he/she might repeat what NDVO says 'still within processing time' (this is worst case scenario) on the other hand he/she might be persistent and ask NDVO provide real answers about status of application

no not MP. ..I apply through agency..but they are also not useful. ..MP said straight forward dat its delay ur process...came back after few weeks...in short we are not helpful not disturbed us...
so I hv no choice to just wait. ..I hv just give 2 days back Canadian government to $5 to eat some toffees...so lets wait. ..

you can ask for your passport and resubmit whenever they are ready to issue your visa...

You have not given your timeline complete. If sep applicant and your files transferred to NDVO latest by October you will hear the progress in a fortnight time. Wishing you a speedy visa.

Thanks sunsweet.. wish you the same.. as for my timeline 18th Sep Applicant.. 1st Oct file transferred to NDVO.. medicals expired in April.. and yeah i was hoping that, 'that fortnight' will soon arrive but cant trust my hopes anymore.. having that passport would bring back some normalcy in my professional life atleast..

they won't push your file down..first they will ask you to do medicals again and at that time if you feel like sending in your passport along with a copy of your medical fee receipt, you can do so..or wait until they ask you for your passport...it's just it takes time for them to ask for passport submission (in any case 2014 applicants have to wait until the end of process for passport submission and your case will be treated like a 2014 applicant) and that might cause the delay and not 'here is someone who asked for passport, let's torture that person by putting the file aside as a punishment' ...in my case, passport request never came so I sent in passport after remedicals was done...in any case, you can send in your passport any time without official notification (all it requires is a cover letter with particulars of your application)....

Hey that's a great news leading to grant of visa soon. Please share the questions yur wife had been asked over the tel call.

So here it is
A guy called told my wife abt where he is calling from and asked my wife
1) how do u know ur husband
She said her mom told her
2) how did ur mom know him
Said relatives told
3) how did you see him 1st?
By skype
4)when did u meet him in person?
He surprised me by coming to engagement and that's the first time
5) y did u marry a catering professional since u r from engineering background?
She said education doesn't matter he have clean habits n looks like gud guy
6) where is he working
own business as cook

Now I am still going off of the application date and not the file trasnfer date to estimate when i will get my PP with visa. Would you agree or disagree and if so why?

she asked about the visa n he said the higher officials will take a decision.
But he said "Don t worry u will get your visa"
The last one my wife is not sure but hopefully everything will be alright

I am an October applicant, and my file took about two months to get transferred to NDVO. I am aware that some of October applicants got their files transferred sooner. I believe currently we don't have enough data to support either application date or file transfer date being the primary factor in determining the application processing date. Once NDVO goes through enough October files, we may have our answer.

It is a new trend at NDVO, they call and ask some general questions to check the authenticity of applicants, and you will see 'in process' status very very soon, keep checking your ecas, you are almost done with the waiting torture.
