one is fast but repeats what NDVO tells him (in short lazy donkey...just insulted a donkey comparing him to an MP) the other is slow but gives detailed information (entered by a moron prone to incorrect information); one costs nothing but other one is $5....seriously MPs can tell you what happened to your application (but not detailed information) if MP does more to find out what exactly is the status of your application and not just repeat NDVO's ('file is within processing time of 13 months come back after that'); notes gives you a history of what actions visa officers had taken regarding your file and whether an interview has been recommended or not; whether they got your email address wrong or not

thanks Canada50 and jj for throwing insight to my case...Im feeling better yet real jittery with ndvo not being very understanding even with genuine cases... these guys can cook any story...I don mind even if it is late but it should be all well...

RK Sandhu: After US Visa expiry we had to leave the port coz it happened suddenly because of a lawyer's mistake who did not apply for extension on time....Getting a Canadian visa wasn't possible at that time and then, when I came to india we applied for immi to get it fast here, a v big mistake yet I pray to that it was a blessing in disguise that I could live with my family and also taught me gr8 lessons of life.... every moment teaches us something.....tc
