I am Nov 2013 applicant & My spouse PP was requested in Jan 2014 after that no update from CIC.

Congrats to all the ppl who r getting DMs... I am sept 23 applicant... Tired of seeing application received.. Seeing sept applicants getting in process is making me more curious.. Can someone tell me if there is an interview how do we usually get to knw it? Do they send an email or update it on ecas? I didn't have any interview recommended on notes though... And can someone tell me.. The starting of the notes did say interview language... I thought it was just part of the file right??

If your interview is not fixed yet then don't worry about it as its good sign. Moreover if its not in your notes mean they havnt started working on ur file till now. Wait and apply notes again after few weeks. Don't get upset & look into your case, if it is straight forward then only expect usual processing time otherwise have patience & do praying.

My status still shows application received despite my file being in process... Wat should dat mean nw?

GCMS notes give you the details about your application and how much work has been do e on your file by the visa office.Only the sponsor who is in canada can apply for notes on behalf of the applicant. So your spouse has to apply for you. But you need to fill out a consent form Sign it and email it to your spouse as he needs to attach it to the application. It's very easy, everything g is done online and he has to pay 5 dollars fee. Go to the 2013 spreadsheet and somewhere on the top you can GCMS notes. Click on it and you will get the details how to apply. I could have pasted the link here but I'm using my phone right know don't know how to do that

eCas says "We started processing XYZ's application on June 19, 2014."
eCAS was updated today (Monday, June 23)

Below is our timeline:
Med's Done: 5 Aug, 2013
App. Filed: 26 Sept. 2013
AOR Received.: 10 Oct. 2013
Sponsorship Approval: 11 Oct. 2013
File Transfer: 11 Oct. 2013
Passport Request: 9 Nov. 2013

Waiting for DM; at the same time praying that they extend the medicals for a month, so that my wife can recover from the surgery.

hand written CONSENT FORM is acceptable or not?pls

don't know about it...but don't take risk...if u submit hand written form may b they will accept it...but if there is an mistake on d form..then they will asked u after 30 days dat in ur consent form is an mistake ...so after correct ur mistake again after 30th day they send u ur notes....so my advice is don't waste 60 days..it will take time but type it not written it...

things will start turning around in the 10th or 11th month...july or aug you may see status change or interview..two ways you can know if there is an interview or not 'notes' or 'mp inquiry'. Last pages of notes will tell you if an interview has been recommended or not....they usually email you or your representative if you have an interview and then update ecas about interview on such and such date...

Hi Palaki and Chatwant I have applied on nov 20 2013 and got sponsorship approval on 20 dec . Jan 18 my husband got passport request ! We have submitted in Feb first week and when I did an MP inquiry recently they said the file has not been touched and asked to enquire mid July or after. So I guess its best not to go in for MP inquiry until late July or early Aug. Hope this helps.

Halo Dhara, I also have been advised not to apply notes or do mp inquiry till July . Just wondering when NDVO asks me for submitting passport n I'll be able to think they started working on Nov lot(touch wood).

wait for few weeks but don't give up if your lawyer or mp or anyone else scares you saying NDVO will put your file at the bottom of the list....there was one forum member who constantly applied for notes every month and he got his visa like everyone else (10 months)..I applied for notes four times and still I ended up like everyone else status changing 12th month....If I had kept quiet I wouldn't have known about interview (no official notification from NDVO only through notes I found out)...till march all I saw in my notes was 'application received' only... in April i have to send case specific inquiry to find out when the interview was and at what time..ask your MP if you don't apply for notes and an interview has been scheduled, how will you know?

no there is no interview yet...and I m keep praying dat it will not....
but problem is ecas,, notes,, MP. ..no one gave a hint about anything dat where is my file. ..sometimes I m wondering if there is an problem in my system where my status stuck in application received. ..(don't start laughing...but how it is looks like when people share about IP or DM apart from stupid application received ....lol)

in status menu ndvo tells we started processing on ur appliction on june 11 2014
but today i check my status then its shows again appliction recived
my medical also expired last month

anybody knws about it
