Hi,

My wife is a September 30 applicant. Just got "IN PROCESS" status. It says that they started working on my application on June 19, 2014. I am happy to see some movement but also keeping myself grounded and praying that the visa comes ASAP.

This is my timeline:

Medicals Done: Mid September, 2013
Application received: September 30, 2013
File transferred: Oct 17, 2013
PP request: November 8, 2013
In process: June 19, 2014

The status changed maybe sometime on Monday IST.

I asked MP... Security and Criminality is "In Process"...

I highly doubt they will reply even if I write or e-mail. It is very evident that they don't care about or have an idea about who to hire in these Visa Offices.

it took me month to get 'dm' after remedicals so yours is around the corner..hang in there and when you get your 'dm' you will be proud to say 'it was bumpy ride but i did it.....omg i got it'....my gut feeling is you will hear from the morons this week or before the end of the month...

Actually, my decision made was on 9th june (will contact you about the decision blabla in ecas) but I saw it online only on saturday june 14th. And my partner said visa printed on 13th. So I guess it's decision made, a few days after they print the visa then post it through registered post. Because I live in andhra, maybe it was a little longer for the post I don't know... mystery of life and NDVO...

another member in the forum wrote the visa date showed june 2 status change was 'june 4' and passport received 'june 7' ...so it is like wild wild west at NDVO office bunch of hee haws running the show as they please..for you it was DM first, stamp next, mail passport after that...typical visa officer day would be 'let's flip a coin before processing this application or let's screw up departments and send out this passport and not tell status changers and not inform applicant...' at home he says ' honey i had so much fun in the office i flipped a coin and decided not to inform anyone and sent the passport out....'

Congrats W2E on receiving DM. This officially makes me the oldest application of 2013 without a Visa. I would like to thank my friends, family and you forum guys n gals for this undivided support and attention.

But most of all I would like to thank NDVO for this beautiful title. Without their snail's working pace, non-transparency and borderline racist agendas I would have had my Visa 6 months ago. But I am a firm believer in God and my Faith, I knew this day would come and I am deeply honoured to receive this title. Thanks NDVO, Jai Hind!!

Congrats to all posters who got DM and their VISA recently.

Waiting for CIC to update their "quarterly timelines" as it should be going up anytime in the next couple of weeks.

Can anyone confirm if it is possible to get DM rejection without an interview???

? Yeah strange this coin process... Depends on the mood of the officer and how many donuts or dosas they eat... At least we receive it. As I can see, you will receive yours soon. Good luck.
