My lawyer emailed NDVO and they called him my wife's file was received on Nov 21 and was sent to new delhi in jan just got to know now. Is that normal that a file is sent to NDVo after more then 1 and a half month and does the countdown to 13 months begins from Nov or Jan. I just want to confirm...

I applied in Nov and Ecas shows application received and they have not asked for passport yet

I am Nov applicant same for me aswell Application received and medical done NDVO didn't even ask for my wife's passport yet

I personally think its stupid for them to reject visa for spouse because what is the point of rejecting when the spouse will bring more money into canada.

I would like to ask i have applied for my wife spousal from canada and she is in india. Can i apply for her visitor visa so she can come here while we are waiting and when asked to give passport she can go back?
