Hello PC32,
Any government staff is trained to introduce himself before asking question. If you are not sure that it was NDVO, you should call back that number to confirm.

Hi fakename...i did try calling the number back and it doesnt go anywhere...no ringing ..nothing! Also..the lady said something that shes calling from Bharat ____...i dont remember what my husband said...lol...prolly a third party company ...anyways...NDVO is the onlyy organization i have dealings with....who else is going to call my husband and ask abt me and our 3 week old baby from New Delhi? .....anyways..*fingers crossed: hoping for good news sooon!*

Tried contacting my MP's office again today and here is what I was told:

-Office will not ask for status on file since documents were recently submitted to CIC and processing time on any documents is 90 days.
-Applications must be put thru same due process as every other application. Applications are worked on in order they are received.
-Embassy will not answer any questons unless their average processing time has been exceeded.
-If you have not heard anything after 13 months, our office can inquire on status.

so much of blah blah from your MP and it just boils down to three words 'don't bother us'....on the other hand, they are honest and unlike other MPs they don't pretend to help you and repeat what NDVO's standard response

Like most of the recently active newbies, I have been following this forum closely and I value your ideas and suggestions.
I applied to sponsor my wife on Aug 9, 2013. There has been an additional doc request last month (9th May) which was duly submitted before the months timeline (it was almost a dire-threat " if you fail to submit the requested doc within 30 days, your application may be refused")
Its past that 30day period and we are still waiting for our file to go to in-process..any insights on how NDVO may work in this situation would be really appreciated.
Can someone add my time-line to the forum.

Most people wait about 2 months to see anything after they send additional documents in. After two months you could think about doing Mp inquiry. Don't worry you will get IP soon.

Are they really working on oct first week applications???

Thanks Asandhu. I am just curious how you arrived at 2months wait period, do you have any usernames, are they listed on the spreadsheet? Sorry, just curious!

Hello UpasanaGovind,
Our application dates are very close, but you managed to get your File transferred and PPR before Pooja & me. Your IP/DM (Within next four weeks) would mean our files are getting processed which makes you 'remember in my prayers' candidate.
We will be watching your case VERY closely for any updates.
Good Luck!

Hahaha hi fakename! Sure I'm really lookin fwd to the next 4 weeks! Considering my meds yes I'm really tensed on one side but also excited on the other..

Will keep u guys posted on the slightest of updates that I get!

Hopefully all of us are re united in canada wid our better halves by early August! :)

I think the limit is 2500 USD cash and 10k total. Not 100% sure...please check..

Are there any other Aug applicants who were asked to submit ADR?
Or any other member on the forum who has experienced a similar request, can you please share your timeline after the ADR?
