Hi guys,
My DM on 7 June 2014 , still waiting for passport after 7 days, does any one received passport who got DM on last week?

Hi Rut88, i also got my DM on 7th June..still waiting for Passport. Had been to the local post office also today to inquire but they haven't received it yet.
Lets hope we get it tomorrow. BTW where do u stay?

I would say Vancouver is the best place in canada . The only I don't like about it , it rain too much but summers are the best . There's so much to do in BC itself , from whistler to kelowna it's all breathtaking landscapes . And don't forget slutty surrey , it's as bad it can get but still love it .

my hubby also said dat in Vancouver there r lots of Punjabi pizza stores where they put everything like ginger, garlic and it was delicious. ..

with pizza shop there is transparency (I guess they will tell you what they put in....mostly toxic stuff..lol) but with NDVO we have no idea..with pizza shop you can send it back if you are not satisfied with NDVO? you can yell at pizza delivery guys if they are late...

Hello JSR,
Our files in NDVO are assigned to the agents. Like any other office, some workers are faster than the others. Seems like your file went in the hands of a slower processing agent. If there are no complexities in your case, they will complete your case before your medical expires. An agent can not take way longer than others in processing a similar type of file.
Remember, like any other pain this pain is also temporary.

if an university funds my experiment then I want to send two identical applications (except the name and address changed) to CIC and see which one is processed faster by NDVO....I doubt if both of them get visas closer to each other...

Hello Guys..

I heard now a days NDVO is not requesting for passport when the file is moved to NDVO.

So in that case, can we apply for Visit visa?.. What are the chances.

Does any of you have any idea about it?

Is there any active member (or just a browser/visiter) to this forum who is a very early 2013 applicant who's e-cas still continues to show "Application received" to this day and knows that their application has been recommended an interview through ordering the notes? Anyone, who's waited more than 13 months of the processing period and yet fails to get any response from the NDVO. If you are that somebody, please pm me or just reply to my message letting me know who you are, I'd like to get in touch with any member who fits this catagory. Thank you.

chances are nil but with NDVO you will never know..they might surprise you...in the application form for tourist visa you may have to declare that you have applied for spousal visa and this might work against you...

Laughing at the people pumping Vancouver.

Unless you plan on coming to Canada and driving a truck or some other job that requires no education, Vancouver is a horrible place to live.

Alberta is where it is at. Booming economy and some big yellow thing called the Sun actually appears...Vancouvers gets maybe 50 days of sunshine a year? lol

have you both ordered 'notes'? called 'MP'? just check if both of you have been scheduled for interviews....two possibilities at this point it might be that they haven't opened your file and decided to have interview or not or you both are going for 'in process' without interviews...it took me 11 months to get into 'interview needed' phase till then it was 'nothing started' and there was another forum member whose status was 'application received' for 11 months and it went to 'in process' in the 12th month....

i am 26 july 2013 applicants medical expired 17th march 2014,,april last week 2014 i did mp enquiry they said file has been completed initial review and interviewed queued...but it has been more than 1 month no any emails and calls from their side abt my interview date and time so when ill expect?pls let me know guys who faces this problem

Can't think of anything else except Vancouver . Again it depends what kinda life style you like , if you more into water surfing , love beach side diners , family camps etc etc . As mentioned by somebody else even if you don't have any skill or education , you can still make your living by driving truck ...lol . So lots of opportunities there , from my experience I would one year bridge course can land you good jobs in Vancouver . Plus search online , safest city .

We as Indian used to make lemonade out of lemon , just because you think higher economy rate make city better then India's GDP is much higher than canada . Why canada then ????
