take my advice- dont check ECas for 3-4 days. Take a break. and I guarantee you, when you reopen Ecas it will be IP OR DM.

3,4 days u telling me.. I won't check 1week from today I mk sure, I b checking next Friday now & I wish ur words get true it changes to IP or DM..seriously pissed off seing same status daily... I feel totally helpless..ek ek second nai cut ta ab..please NDVO kuch miracle h dikhao ab to.. August applicants r waiting 4 that time..

Speedy visa to all.. Andresweet wil get back to u on Friday.. Thnk u 4 giving me positive hopes.. I was totally de- motivated , frustrated....

My application was received my CIC Mississauga on 12th September.
Transferred to NDVO on 27th September.
Medical done 30th July

She didnt said anything about Visa and my status is still Application received.

Got a reply from NDVO after so long and now I am all worried.

Brother my dates are almost in sync with your dates. Application Received 13th Sept and Transferred to NDVO 26th Sept.
I've got an email from NDVO asking my stay in Canada entry and exit details.
Since I've been in the country for 2 years on work permit, applied for PR, went back, landed to finish PR formalities, got married and came back after 3.5 years of PR.
NDVO was really confused about application, so they reached out to me. I think they are picking up mid sept slot now.
Status is Application Received.
Many a cases they directly go into DM, hope yours will be same as you've already received a call.

wow sept is in process and I pray all the aug ones r gonna get their dm.... for sure sep12 is in process...my masi also got telephonic calls for her visa and got in 8-10 days though it was visitors visa....I know more ppl with mini interviews with no status update in ecas , but were in process...so cheer up all, NDVO IS WORKING AND LETS STOP BULLYING THEM, though we cant practically.....I pray for all Aug applicants to come out of this trauma...tc...have a gr8 day ahead

it is 'DM' so I can lift only one leg and can't kick him/her out yet but i can't stand on one leg too long so hurry up man and get your passport soon...congrats anyway...even tiny bit of news is good for the forum....

It's 10 months now and no improvement in my status,, still showing Application received. They already started September files but as a August applicant I feel very helpless.. Looks like they skipped some of August people just to show that they are going advance in processing ..
I don't know how they are doing but no wonder as in NDVO 75% of staff is Indian and they don't give a ***ck while working but we are in great pain ...
Come on NDVO think about us ...

U absolutely right desijatt, u & me on d same boat..not only u & me, there r many other August applicants who are waiting for there visa..I'm totally fed up, how they working.. have you both ordered 'notes'? called 'MP'? just check if both of you have been scheduled for interviews....two possibilities at this point it might be that they haven't opened your file and decided to have interview or not or you both are going for 'in process' without interviews...it took me 11 months to get into 'interview needed' phase till then it was 'nothing started' and there was another forum member whose status was 'application received' for 11 months and it went to 'in process' in the 12th month....
