Yes, i spoke to Ganapathy ji on 2012 pending cases and Ganpathy ji said that since this is more serious matter, he has escalated it to his higher up (his dad, Shankar Mahadev ji) and that will be taken up more seriously between NDVO senior officer and Shankar ji on a priority basis. I will keep you all posted on my progress with Ganapathy ji.

:) :)

Hoping for the best. May Ganpathyji bless everyone with faster visas, blissful married life and happiness abound!

since ecas status has not gone into 'in process', your wife has enough time to recover from surgery. Worst case is two weeks before medicals expiry you get NDVO telling you to pack and go...you can talk to them and get some more time (they can extend expiry date up to 6 months but rarely do it...they might it extend it by one more month or ask you to redo medicals which means you will have lots of time to pack and go and your wife to recover from surgery). Now that NDVO is processing august applications, it will take time to start processing September applications.

Thanks a lot W2E... So you do believe we shall talk to them and inform them of the situation. Do you think we shall do it now or wait for ecas to show 'In Process'?

if they want you to leave in two weeks before your medicals expires they will call you to ask if it is ok (in most cases they do) at that time you can ask for some more time....you know it is easier to climb Mount Everest ten times or meet martians than contact NDVO people over the phone...

:D ;D Great comparison! I agree, rather try to connect with martians than with NDVO. They probably are more receptive and approachable.

I shall wait for NDVO to act, before trying to do anything!

Thanks a lot for the advice and for bringing a smile in this time of distress!

Thanks for your reply. The first marriage was dissolved and we got married after 6 months. We have provided all the supporting docs. Hope they do it soon. Losing my patience now.

second marriage per se won't be a reason for interview but if second marriage happened before dissolving the first one properly or second marriage immediately after the first one dissolved could make visa officers' old fashioned mind to suspect something fishy here...but if you have provided solid supporting documents that could answer their questions then they would not call you for an interview...

Thanks! Yea I was a simple student there :P. Few posts back there was a post where someone mentioned that his/her background check was stretched because of this.
Hey Jasmine, that was me. If you have already submitted your PCC I don't think there is an issue. There is no 'negative' impact coz of Canadian stay. It's just that they do a thorough check on u until they r convinced. In my case I stayed there for 5 months ( 1 month short of 6) and they still insisted on RCMP checks which took a long time. As I mentioned earlier, since you have given your PCC with the apple, you don't need to worry. Hope this clears doubts.

also there was someone who claimed he got benefit of previous stay and a visitor visa for Canada, he was the only sept applicant who got visa before aug applicants.
so you never know NDVO, they can consider it a positive or sometimes fishy stuff. Its totally on visa officer's mood.

And a lot on luck. I was a simple visitor spending time with my husband after the wedding. Nobody knows what gets them suspicious. Anyway RCMP checks - if you get them - are the most stressful part of the processing. They call you to the Delhi embassy and take your prints with ink-and-roll! no biometric! And what should be processed in a week gets stretched to months and months.

I think they are giving priority to medical expiry first, common thing between all three of you is medical expiry which has still some time left.

Hi, i had also stayed in Canada more than 6 months. When i had submitted my application at Delhi, at that time i didnt submit my RCMP PCC. Bcz my lawyer told me not to submit it. So i didnt. He had also said they will only ask your RCMP PCC, if your name will clash in their system with some one who has been already got the criminal charges.
But as per the advise of senior members in this forum , i had applied my RCMP PCC, and i got it in 20 days. Around 20 days back i have submitted my PCC to NDVO. If you have already stayed in Canada in the past you didnt exceed the duration of stay , it wont affect on your application.
Just stay calm and be patience. You will get your visa very soon.
Good luck.

Hi PC32,
I hope the Sept files be in process soon, which is going to happen by the end of this week or beginning of next week..... All is gonna be well...Tc of you and baby

Guys i have one query. After arriving in Canada, for how long it takes to get the PR card ? Suppose if its taking 2 to 3 months , can we travel to another country ? and can we re enter in Canada with the same landing papers ( which will be issued by NDVO ) or we have to wait to travel until we get the Actual PR card ?

Waiting for the valuable comments.
Thanks

Chacha Chaudry and VSN, a question for you.....RCMP PCC is only required if you have stayed in Canada or currently staying in Canada, am I right?
