Chacha Chaudry and VSN, a question for you.....RCMP PCC is only required if you have stayed in Canada or currently staying in Canada, am I right?

Hi, There is ambiguity here.. As per NDVO it says if you have stayed in any country for more than 6 months , then you need to submit your PCC from that country. You still have to provide the PCC even if you have stayed or you have been living there from more than 6 months.
Before applied of my PCC i had called NDVO. I had talked with one lady and i explained everything to her. She asked me, did anyone asked you to submit your RCMP PCC ? then i said No. Then she said ,you have to submit it only when you will be ask for it. The same thing my lawyer had told me. You dont need to submit it.
But still i applied for it and i submitted my PCC to NDVO.

yeah I know dats dere new trend to ask people "can u fly before ur medical expire"..but dats not fit for me I hv different case..when they issue my visa after dat I will apply my baby's canadian passport. .without my visa's proof they didn't issue his passport. .so we all know they r so lazy I don't think so now in a months left dis time period I m done all dat things...

A lil' update for anyone interested:

My landing documents along with the passports were sent to the wrong address - my previous address. This in spite of informing them (the visa office of course) of my change of address well in advance. So, the package was returned to them, they sent me an email asking to confirm my current address ASAP. The good news (I guess) was that they dispatched the package on the day of my ECAS status turning DM - May 12.

All this to say that a little more wait - perhaps a week or so and I should get the 'oh so coveted' landing documents. Over 15 months since I've applied, meds and remds done, kept myself busy all through the agonizing 6 month PAFSO strike, witnessed all kinds of emotional upheaval on this forum, also witnessed some very joyous comments and now it boils down to this - one last week before I can pack my bags.

I will frequent this forum for the next week or so. I would be pleased to assist anyone who has any relevant questions. If not, good luck y'all.

I dont understand the processing of NDVO...thy are granting visas to August applicants. . ....still many r left...first I was under impression that according to medical dates dey r issuing...ths month my 11 month ll start.....donno whtr dey r gonna update IP DMs in our cases or nt...Rksandhu, jai sai ram and me....many ppl are left other den d forum also....

Yes..u correct Shona, even I'm worried how they working according to d medical expire or applicant date..
Many applicant got visa even there medical r expiring on 17,20th July..
Ur n mine r same date 8th August..it's been long time more than 10 months now, fully finished.. This wait is killing me now...how they working god know.. NDVO please give visa too all August applicant..
It's high time now..this pang of seperation r very difficult...

I have a doubt if some one could clear it out it would be great.
My wife filed for my application at Mississauga office on 19/11/2013 and she got the confirmation letter on 18th December confirming it.
Than again on 6th fen she got a letter stating that she has been approved.
Again on 1st April 2014 I got a letter from ndvo asking for my receipt and pcc if not already submitted and the letter was dated 8th march 2014.
I am just curious to know that which year and month applicant shoul I consider myself to be.

tatkal apply for Indian passports my baby's canadian passport. .they said dat we issue his passport in just 20days...but I don't trust on dese embassy's officers...dats dere condition after see my visa then they issue passport. .
so I don't know whts gonna happen..

nov 2013 applicant..go to ecas and check it will say 'we received sponsorship application for mr.chatwant on xx/xx/xxxx'.....
