Sunday should bring lots of IPs and DMs. And they should clear backlogs also along with processing new files because it has been a long wait for few applicants like me for whom a year has already passed and don't know how many more days or weeks or months they will take now to finalize our files..... ;D ;D ya allah please ab toh DM de do...

Hi everyone - I am 2014 applicant. I have heard from my various friends and on the forums here that NDVO processing times used to be fast, but due to a strike at the office last year there is so much backlog. Can you please tell me if this is true. Was there a strike? and how long was it for? Thanks.

Normal processing time earlier used to be six months. The strike was for seven month long It put everything out of gear. Now normal speed is picked up. The NDVO deals with different categories of VISA. We are concerned with Family class Spousal Visa. The process has two phases one at CIC wherein the sponsor side is checked and Sponsorship Approval is given and the file sent to respective visa office and for us New Delhi Visa Office. The waiting game starts here. First phase is at normal speed there was not much variance.
The processing average period has gone as high as 13 months. This forum has >2800 pages you can read the entire pages to know everything. Now Aug 2013 applicants are getting their visa.
As you are 2014 applicant there is 2014 thread wherein you log and be active. this is the brief. Wishing you all the best.

Yes they did. They sent me an email and gave me 30 days to get the remeds done.

Can please confirm how many days they took to issue you ur DM from the date of ur re medical
It will clear a major doubt
