HOW DOES VFS WORK ones NDVO IS READY TO SEND PASSPORT????

any idea how many applications we have in SEP, OCT, NOV and DEC 2013, approx numbers ???

roughly 500-600 at max, as September applicants are 109, other months might be quiet as well.

Thought of going for MP inquiry got scared after reading a post that MP's inquiry will make the processing delay.

Hello Reeyan,

I think you should do mp inquiry about your application. My status was changed to Dm on May 11 I thought passport will be mail out in two weeks but still waiting. I did mp inquiry and she confirmed that visa is granted they will send passport shortly may be in next two weeks they will send passport.

if these are only 500 applications then it should take them only 2-3 months to finish 2013, what say ???

Lol. Place yourself into the position of VO staff. If you will finish the work in 2-3 months they will not hire you full time,instead they will put you on contact basis :

i don't want them to be unemployed but this will reduce the time, 1 year time to give a visa is toooo toooo much.
but i think they took almost 2 months to finish july for which the file count was approx 600 so based on the same lines i made this guess...

Thanks so much.. I did Mp inquiry already and they are in a process of reviewing my file now...Hope soon..but i just needed to know how VFS works?? NDVO gives the passpor to VFs and VFs calls us to pick up from there office??? I dont know..if you know anything about it..please advise. Thanks.

HOW DOES VFS WORK ones NDVO IS READY TO SEND PASSPORT????

When your passport through VFS normally you pay for two pay (to send and get back). We have not gotten it back, but the VFS staff told us that we would get an email once NDVO hands the passport to them and another one once the passport is ready at the VFS office in Kathmandu.

this is my file information,
delhi has had out passports since january 2013, yet we have received no response or even our passports back, has this happend to anyone else, is there anything i can do, this is for family sponsorship,
i was a student in canada and came back to india because our family sponsorship application requested we submit our passports in ONE file but still no response, is there anything we can do to find out more information, i tried MP inquirys and so many emails no luck, Please let me knw

I ain't an August applicant but my status showed DM on May 12. I haven't heard nor received any communication from the visa office. My Attorney says that the passports should arrive shortly. I guess having waited for so long - 15 months in my case, another couple of weeks won't be the end of the world.

I hope we receive some good news from our postman soon...

Hi. I got to know from someone, that NDVO has more than 4000 Family class applications. They are working at the best, and the processing time is going to increase upto 17 months very soon. Some people always say here that they skip some of the files. Its correct , bcz they do that. Bcz its all depends on the each and individual visa officer how busy he/she is and how much work load he/she has it. Thats why some people are getting their DM very soon.

Hey how you got to know about increase in processing time?
If is it so its gonna be so tough. We all are waiting to be reunited with our partners.
