Status changed to In process (2 hrs back)

Started processing application from 26th May

Actually my wife got a call from New Delhi to confirm, If she can travel before her medicals get expire (i.e 24th June). She is okay with that and opted for post.

Finallyyy i am so happy to see the status change on ecas....

Thanks!!!! I just hope what you said comes out true!!! I was expecting to at least hear something from NDVO within this month but now only 2 days left for the month to end....my application will be 9 months on 3rd June :-[ Let's see what happens.

M not asking how many luggage we are allowed to take..... Of course I know two luggage n one carry on...... I said how r they weighing.... Two together or one at a time.... Cos ppl told me previously they weigh the luggage two together n shud not exceed 46kgs or Lil more can be allowed.... N now a days they r weighing one at a time... Is it true? So my question is one of my luggage already crossed 25kgs n the other around 23kgs so will it be a problem? Traveling by Jet airway.......

well in emirates upto 32 kgs they chrge 50 $.. if u cross 23 kgs fill ur bags till 32 and pay 50 $ each bag....

Hi. I got to know from someone, that NDVO has more than 4000 Family class applications. They are working at the best, and the processing time is going to increase upto 17 months very soon. Some people always say here that they skip some of the files. Its correct , bcz they do that. Bcz its all depends on the each and individual visa officer how busy he/she is and how much work load he/she has it. Thats why some people are getting their DM very soon.
Its very hard for all of us. Keep patience guys and pray for all.

I can see your wife has done her med on 16th june and cic asked her to fly before 24th june??
so the med is valid for 1 year right?? or it depends upon cic to decide>?

Yeah. Medicals are valid for one year from the date they received. I have seen in the forum for few ppl, where NDVO extended Medicals a month extra.
