the whole passport..the reason is because the copy of the passport CIC had on file was expired..i'm very confused as to why the original wasn't asked

I am confused....you sent a copy of your original passport to CIC and it expired...now they are not asking for original but another copy? did you loose the original and order a copy? or you have the original but did not send it because it got damaged or something? if you are ordering a new one, don't you have to attach the old one that has visas stamped? when you send the passport to CIC don't you have to send all the passports (expired and current ones)?

just ask the lawyer why he/she needs it and why not the original? you pay them and you have every right to know the reason for such request....

Is there anything else i need to add (since i never got a ppr request, i have no idea what they mention in their request letter)?

two weeks over now got call from NDVO and one week after DM.

I did not received my passport any idea after how many days they send passport.

Usually it takes 2-12 days after DM. Dont worry u vil get ur PP within 2-3 days.

Have you tried filing for GCMS notes? Maybe you will find more information there. Also, would you mind sharing your timeline please...

I never got a call from the VO, but DM since May 12, 2014. I've been waiting for the postman ever since.

I realize we are on the home stretch .....but this is testing!
