Anyone from Nepal in the form. I am still waiting for passport do you in how many days NDVO will send passport. It is more than a week since my status changed to DM.

I remember there was a guy called Reeyan from Nepal and he was undergoing a wait period even after DM, I am not sure what happened. Sorry buddy I can't provide much help.

I have done MP inquiry. i had a call this morning regarding my Wifes application from My MPs office. he said me that he was told that the high commission New Delhi needs the Original PCC. but my Wife has Already submitted the Original PVC last year. Also my Ecas shows that the Application is Recieved on 12th August 2013.

if any applicant is from gujarat State kindly confirm if the Police Verification Certificate (PVC) is Accepted by the Canadian High Commission New Delhi. as the Commissioner Office in Gujarat State only Issues the Police Verification Certificate(PVC).

I HOPE THE HIGH COMMISSION DONT HAVE ISSUE WITH THIS NOW. AS I HAVE NO FUTHER COMMUNICATION FROM THE HIGH COMMISSION YET...... :

I don't think it makes a difference whether its a Police Verification Certificate (PVC) or a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Just make sure you have a clearance for the past 10 years or since the age of 18.
My wife is from Gujarat and we have also submitted the Police Verification Certificate from Ahmedabad City Police. Though we haven't got the PR yet, but I know a friend of mine from Gujarat who submitted a similar PVC certificate from Ahmedabad. She has got her visa last month and is now with her husband in Calgary.

Have you tried filing for GCMS notes? Maybe you will find more information there. Also, would you mind sharing your timeline please...

You need to go to nearest passport seva kendra and apply for PCC. If this is not applicable in Gujarat, then you need to figure out how to get a PCC AS i think getting a PCC and sending it IMMEDIATELY to the embassy will solve all problems and keep things simple and also help you get your visa ASAP

So I got a call from my lawyer today asking for a copy of my hubby's valid passport sent to her via email..now to me thats weird cause i thought CIC requires original passport..has anyone been asked that?

did you ask why they need it? is your lawyer asking for photocopy of first and last pages of passport? or the whole passport so that they would know where you had traveled so far? for their files? or to send it to NDVO?

the whole passport..the reason is because the copy of the passport CIC had on file was expired..i'm very confused as to why the original wasn't asked
