When I told my lawyer, I am ordering for GCMS notes, he got irritated and told me I am complicating my case.
whereas my husband, who applied for FSW for himself in 2010, ordered caips for 3 times and he got his pr in 11 months.
and he would have never got the pr as medical letter was lost somewhere and he came to know from caips about that.

you don't need lawyer's permission or his/her help to order notes...I have ordered it 4 times without lawyer doing it....some lawyers who already took on the case demand additional $500 to order notes...

NO. They do not delay the process. It is like a grievance redressal mechanism. The section should be separate to attend to the enquiries and inform the status of application, updating status etc. If they are not too busy on quarry at the most their time could be utilised for the updating the status.
How do we know where do we stand Unless some one tell us the status or answer our doubts etc.? Frustration and anxiety due to delay makes our families to go crazy. If they give visa faster who will use this type of mechanism. This should be used properly.

many people didn't know about notes...even I said my husband to apply it,, his frds said dat there is no such kind of thing...but in the end I win...

just got the responce from ndvo through mp inquire,
through mp we found that ndvo is gona send my passport with shiny shiny visa soon and I suppose to get my passport within 2 weeks..
super super excited guys I don't think so I can sleep tonite

The family friend of mine ordered the notes twice and both times they(ndvo) screwed up the personal information on both husband and wife big time. NDVO claims that both parties are male, this is the sponsor's second marriage(when infact it's the first for both sponsor & applicant) and got their religious background detail wrong. They even had a paid representitve send an e-mail to the ndvo and on the second notes they ordered, that e-mail was acknowledged, yet they still failed to correct the mistakes?

my case too many mistakes and they have yet to acknowledge they made mistakes....I think being a government worker give them immunity from firing them and they don't care....people who enter data from the application probably did not complete their fifth grade but were hired...
