I received my GCMS notes today. Most of the document is not really helpful except the last couple of pages which have the notes. All it says is that I am a canadian citizen and my date of landing 13 years ago. I have the following questions:
- How do I know if they have recommended my wife for an interview?
- How do I know if any documents are missing?

It seems like they haven't really touched the file yet in New Delhi (which I suspected anyway) but I would still like to know if they have any red flags. I would appreciate if someone can tell me answers to the above 2 questions.

what is your timeline? when did you apply? it took them 9 months to touch my file....at the end of your notes (last two pages) they will say 'interview recommended'

Application received on September 30th, 2013. I realize that they haven't really touched my file yet but in the last two pages there is no mention of an interview.

Marriage Certificate Assessment Procedure

I have also done inquiery for marriage certificate assessment from Delhi external ministry affairs. The process is so long abut three months. First we have to verified it from jilla adhikari , then rastriya adhikari and after that we have to send it to New delhi. Also before that we have to bring letter for which purpose we want to do this assessment from canada. Also this process cost is Rs. 15,000

Hi All,
Under Sponsor ecas Status it shows current mailing address as my India address and home address shows sponsor's Canadian address. Is this normal? Ideally it should shows Canadian Address for both. Would appreciate if someone can clarify. Thanks.

Hello Folks,
How are you gusy?
I have one query here, please shed some light on it.
After arriving in Canada , for how long do we have to wait to travel in any other country ? Is there any time limitation , which we have to follow and we need to stay there?

Good luck to all..........

Hey everyone,

Please update my profile to complete as I went back home to get my wife. She landed with me on this Thursday, April 17, 2014.

Everything went smooth no questions asked by the officer just some tips for new comers. Please fill in the declaration form separately if you are travelling with your husband/wife or some one who is accompanying you. If you are alone you just need to fill in your part.

Also, please don't talk in cell phone when you arrive in Canada immigration exist as the officer will stop you and ask questions. It depends on how he looks at you as some of my friends have the same situation where they were talking on the cell phone and stopped at the end to be questioned.

I am not scaring anybody but this is what I have seen and please be careful not to bring in any food product like meat and fish, acchaars.
