How we need to prove our intend to return to canada? Since, My wife is living in India from last May 2013.

Hi Everyone, I applied in Feb 2013. Current status is application and medical received.
I am a Cdn citizen and have sponsored my wife while staying in India. I had read that Cdn citizens can stay abroad during the application process.
1. Is the delay cos I have opted to stay in India during the application process?
2. Recently I have received email asking for T4 and paystubs. I had mentioned clearly in the application that I am staying in India so bit confused why they are asking for T4 and paystubs now.
Any suggestions please!

No that wont delay your file. The T4 and pay stubs are just because they want to make sure that you are going to be working back in Canada to support your wife once she get the PR or that you were already working in Canada.

hi can someone help me with this clarification?

if a persons file moves to inprocess does it mean that their interview has been waived or hav there been instances where after in process ppl hav been called for interview?

In process usually means no interview. At least that has been the general trend. Next is DM.

or
Job offer letter stating that they will hire her once she comes back to Canada

OMG!!! My wife's application is also "IN PROCESS". I cannot believe this. They started processing her application on March 22, 2014. I just called her and both of us could not believe it. This call was filled with lots of silence and then a burst of uncontrollable giggles. Totally stoked...
I wish everyone can experience the same feeling very soon... now I cannot imagine how it will be to finally see DM. I wish I could see my love's reaction when she sees the shiny visa soon...
