Hello friends
Just had interview in New Delhi today. It went for about 20 minutes. The visa was provided within an hour after the interview. The lady (British descent) who took interview was so respectful and professional. Entirely a delightful conversation not the dialogue of the deaf I must say. ...so guys who are scheduled for the interview. Pls don't panic, it just expedites the process so has happened in my case. Thanks a lot to Myrah n Magessss for their kind heart n helping nature ..May god always be with you beautiful peeps! Will fly back to Nepal tomorrow pm ..keep smiling cheers!!

Congrats!! ;D

don't be nervous...for all the preparation that you had done, this could be just a quality assurance interview so they may not ask any probing questions...even if they ask probing questions, you are there to prove that your relationship is genuine and their assumption that it is not, is wrong...hopefully you will get a nice visa officer who make you feel relaxed and encourage to prove your relationship...good luck

Just got my notes:

applied on Jan 18th,

Group Name: FCU-CA Review

Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: In Progress

Soooo....nothing much from this i suppose! :/

Is there any where they would have mentioned any extension of medicals or anything else i can look out for?

Wondering if we should apply for another...or just wait since i've already sent ADR

Hi DVA,

Look at page 10-11 of your notes, under Medical. Look for the "Due Date". That should tell you when your medical expires.

I got a call to fly before the 18th of march or get an xray exam to extend the entry time

I wont be able to fly by then, my question is would they give me the passport back and i have to go for another medical or just an xray and i can still pick up the passport early

Please please if you don't have any serious issues then just come to Canada. Trust us the delay is going to be more painful, I wish I had this opportunity and I will fly the next week.

Just book your ticket now and come to Canada if your health is ok.

Friends by the look of it here is my theory of NDVO process. This is for the complete package send already if there is any missed document then there is a delay.

1. Look for complete package send by the applications. ( 2 months )

2. Look for application really applicable to sponsor ( 1 month )
(what is the income, is he/she on welfare, can support wife, how long living in Canada)

3. Issue AOE from Mississauga (1 week)

4. File waiting for review in NDVO. ( 2 months )

5. File getting review for medical, PCC validity and security check ( 2 months )

6. File send to senior officer to review to send PASSPORT Request ( 1 months )

7. Passport received by NDVO and now waiting for review ( 2 months )

8. File getting review by junior officer and then sending for final assessment ( 1 month )

9. Getting a call or showing DM on E-cas ( NO IDEA )

Friends this is what I am assuming that NDVO office is doing. Don't panic as this information is purely based on my side.

thanks waiting to exhale

Hi DVA,

All i see in regards to medicals is:

Validity date: Blank
Status updated date: 2013/07/18
Due Date: 2014/07/10

But this due date doesnt make sense as there is no way they will extend medicals from march to july! Basically all updated dates are showing july 2013 and nothing was touched on my file when i ordered for it.

Hi Guys

A lot has happened since my last post.

My PR applicant wife got a TRV so she has moved in with me in Toronto.

She has now received her PPR, does this mean their is no requirement for an Interview? If required to interview we'll be in a fix because she is on a single entry TRV and we'd prefer not to go through another visa application for multiple entry.

Anybody knows whats next after PPR? We have submitted medical, pcc, paid fees with the application. (applied 25th Nov'13 , file moved 22nd Dec 2013 , PPR received 20th Jan 2014)

Just curious , once the NDVO asks for Passport Request on 20th 2014 didn't you send passport of your spouse to NDVO ?
