There does not seem like a lot of red flags so I doubt that you will be called for an interview. But you can never predict what NDVO is thinking and may still decide on an interview just for the fun of it.

wee I have kind of similar story. Mine was love marriage, and my wifey is 6 months elder to me. and becoz it was a inter caste love marriage and her fater is not well (kidney patient) his fam did not do any engagement ceremony and even denied us for reception but marriage function was proper with around 400 guests

Six months of age difference shouldn't be a problem. And no reception no engagement should be okay as long as you have enough evidence to back up your story. NDVO can't be this heartless to think that you should have a huge wedding when your father in law isn't well. I hope everything works out for you and your wife, and your families and I hope your father in law gets better soon.

Yes, you have to submit all your old passports. Maybe you can wait and see if NDVO asks for the old passports.

Desi-girl is right that you have to submit your old passports, otherwise if you dont send them now it might delay your file.. I have seen examples in the past when they asked for the old passports

Thanks desi-girl for the wishes and your concern regarding my father in law,. i wish he gets well. but both his kidneys has problem and already got transplant. its just expensive medical services keeping him alive

Hi All

I see 'Decision Made' on ECas as of Jan 23rd 2014. I still have not received any email or physical letter from CIC confirming my SA.

My worry is- based on reading other posts, that sometimes, the file just sits in CPC-M until you call and followup and only then they send the actual letter and then only they transfer the file to NDVO.

I called and spoke with the useless folks at the call center and all of them are giving conflicting information. One of them says, an email was sent on 23rd, another says a 'letter' was sent on 27th. I am worried.

What should I do? Bottomline-I want the file transferred to NDVO. How do i verify that?

hey roger dont worry about the letter , we have same timelines. i called them and they said my file has been approved for sponsership and has been transferred to NDVO for further processing. i still request them to send me another letter to confirm this and they said they will mail it within a week

I got an amazing response for the MP inquiry. "The file is in review"

What i suppose to make out of it. They are providing a response for the sake of giving one.

Also, MP assistant is saying frequent inquiry will slow down the process.

who is your MP. i think he is just avoiding the situation as query doesnt delay the process

Hi
I am a permanent resident of canada. I got married in Oct 2013 and applied the spousal sponsorship which they received on dec 2 2013. I received the approved status for stage 1 that is sponsor evaluation and the application was forwarded to New Delhi office on january 9, 2014. With the application package sent before, the medical test, police clearance certificates and RRPF was sent. Recently we received an email, stating the request of
1. proof of payment of RRPF, if not already paid
2. Police Clearance certificates of the countries where my spouse resided, if not submitted.
I want to know, do we need to notify that these 2 things are already sent to them before and how long does it take to process the application.
