I think thy should issue a temporary visa for spouses only for like two years and thn later apply for PR. The only thing which is disturbing us is the distance....its nt thr stupid PR we r dying for....

you are right , I love the system in US where you can bring your partner on Fiance or Fiancee visa and then start the process of PR there.. Someone told me Canada used to have the same system when Liberals were the ruling party... It was gone when Conservatives came in Power....

As this distance thingy is killing me everyday and its not a great feeling. when you get married and just leave your partner and fly away. it creates depression and differnce in relations as well... I wish it becomes better and everyone see their partner very soon

no i dont think anyone here who was on dm for more than 3 weeks. Mostly people who were on dm received pp back with the visa within one week or one week half. I think you should talk to your MP about three weeks no update after DM. Good luck.

We cant say if NDVO changes status on the weekend too or not. Sometimes they do since they did update last sunday. Mostly they update on monday i think. lets hope that they will update blast of IPs or Dms tmr (sunday) hopefully you will hear good news tooo..wish you a speedy visa!

There is no holiday on Republic Day and also the statistics say that they have been working on Sundays..so, fingers crossed

Hey can you tell me one thing? Do they count 12 months from the date of application received or from the date they received passport? Looks like your and my dates are quite similar!!!

Thats true. Nope. They started working on first week of june applicants and only two ppl got in IP. hopefully they give more news on june applicants this week.
