May 2014 becz my file would complete its 12 months ! I am sure after tht I would get visa. Atleast I wuld hv full right to disturb MP and ndvo

why to quit...atleast let 12 months complete which wuld be in june for you....
but seriously I am loss of positive words...I myself is in same situation. ..I m stuck....last november I lost my father in law..... ... its only to hve more patience

lol yeah ! thats a blessing.. but u know this last stage of the wait is most taxing !
however, i wish that everyone on this forum sails through this journey well.

it baffles me how this department of family class sponsorship doesn't get more attention from NDVO as much as it deserves. distance does take its toll!

12 months from transfer date or application date ? oh goodie...I thought it was May month the deadline but now it is June....
sorry to hear about your father-in-law passing away..it is not easy to deal with stressful situations and as far as NDVO they could make it less stressful by updating applicants of their file status....maybe they don't have enough staff..oh, well not much I can do except wait...

no, it shows 'Decision Made'. Apparently in my case the status was never updated to IP. it directly went to DM from 'Application received'. No phone call yet. so i'm assuming they have dispatched the passport and i should receive it soon... unless, they are upto something else, which i desperately hope should not be the case.

going by your situation ,I guess they will order a new passport for me and send it to me with shiny visa after 10 months....that's bizarre in a good way that your status going from 'Application received' to 'decision made' ....you will hear from NDVO soon..they might call you to verify address so clutch your phone in your hands and not let it go..I assume you are waiting for the postman to ring your door bell anytime and whenever someone rings the bell (beggar, paper buyer, vegetables seller, books seller) you curse those who are not mail carriers by profession...lol

lol... i sit at office all day... so i constantly look at my phone for a call by my FIL saying - beta aa gaya tera shiny visa... jaa simran jaa, jee le apni zindagi.. lol

i sincerely pray that they update u with progress on ur file very soon

my file was transfered on 1st may 2013. And in eligibility, security, criminality...the due date is given some where in May.. medical valid till 22nd feb...
Our relationship is very simple and easy to understand. ...normal arranged marriage with same caste and no problm of age difference.. plus there was 1 yr of gap btw enagagment and marriage and we both have Master's degree...provided enuf proofs.... isnt this so simple ...NDVO jaago pyaare

my doctor sent my medical reports to CPP-OTTAWA (responsible for processing inside canada applications) instead of CPP-MISSISSAUGA (responsible for processing outside canada applications ). That is the only reason my medicals have not been updated yet.
This is the reply I got today
" Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Please be advised that we have still not received the medical results on this application. As soon as they are received, processing will resume and you will be communicated directly by our office with next steps.

We trust that this information will be of assistance. "

what should i do now ? should I do case specific enquiry again and ask them to get my medicals from CPP-OTTAWA ?
Damn so stressed !

Relax, if you have scanned copy or xerox copy of your medical, send them a scanned copy via e-mail of your medical stating that your doctor had send medical report to Ottawa instead of MISSISSAUGA, hopes this clear and wish you speedy visa.

i did feel great when i checked e-cas on sunday evening with no hope and saw the status as DM... took me some time to sink in the feeling
