Glad to hear from you. No there won't be any interview per ce. There would be few minutes of chitchat about the forms and address in Canada. The PR card will be sent to that given address separately and it takes a while (a month or two).

hey guys...sorry for not replying and being out of touch...but thats cuz im busy preparing landing docs for my wife...and packing!
its a daunting task!

can someone please let me know ..what happens when my wife lands in Canada.Will she be interviewed or given PR card without any interview.

I am preparing a B4 form for all the goods to be accompanied and goods that will follow....its some work !

They generally give IP along with medical update (if not already updated) when a second visa officer works on eligibility based on another officer's recommendations. Maybe our visa officer puts the files into IP only after everything is in the table. Who knows, only NDVO.

Congrats on meds update. One more step closer to DM.
Since your meds are done, once they have completed the security and background checks, I think they will give IP if everything looks ok on file.

Hi,
My Lawyer did tht on behalf of me, But I am sure it is pretty simple like replying their PPR email with your later submission info and the reason why you want that option.

There lies your lawyer is representing you. So they dont know ur number and cant call u .your lawyer must get ppr as u should have represented him in both sponsor and immigration forms

they would have mentioned in the notes if they had called my lawyer or made any attempt to call her and if it did not go through....eventually they have to inform somebody somehow about passport...

Myrah.. as anupam told, I've done a case specific enquiry.. In that they've told that they will respond after 28 days. ;( Now my wait is again extended.. medical will expire by march 13th. Please God have mercy on me.. :'( Now im feeling dull and numb. Not even able to talk to hubby properly..

90% of the people who are waiting to hear anything from NDVO go through similar feelings like yours....all the conversations with their spouses begins and ends with 'any news from NDVO?' and in between 'what will happen to us....'..and longer one waits longer one doubts if the delay due to this or that...hang in there you will hear good news soon

Congrats, i do not think there will be any formal interview, it might be casual conversation like where She / He is heading to , what the spouse does in Canada. they will give a print out of landing, which is called landing paper. It is a very important document and you have to hold it will citizen application and for other processes. The card generally come between 4 to 6 weeks.
