whats the next ecas update after Application received.
how do you get File transfer date?

more than anything they need is proof and loads of it. so u had just 1 meeting u got married and u left. and then u filed application in may sept is not counted coz u already filed the application....please collect as much as u can and make a folder for the interview...don't worry interview is a formality to just see how genuine your relationship is....soon u will get your date and pass with flying colors ...good luck dear.....u need any help loads of ppl will help u here

most welcome either email or call.....u get at least a month or 2 notice before your interview ......your interview shld be scheduled for march or april that's what I think so by feb u shld be getting your date !!

all depends some get "medicals have been received" and some get "we started processing your file" on e-cas

cic sends u an email which is your sponsorship approval letter that your file has been transferred to your visa office which is new delhi !!

btw a.m is the wife not the husband

most welcome either email or call.....u get at least a month or 2 notice before your interview ......your interview shld be scheduled for march or april that's what I think so by feb u shld be getting your date !!

Don't they change the status for TRP holders to PR from within Canada? We can not take the child outside Canada as we do not have any days remaining in hand to stay outside Canada. Thats the reason we applied for the TRP and we got the child with us to Canada.

What is GCMS notes? and how to apply for it? where can i get more information.

I just read on in this forum a few post back that they have started processing visa for June applicants. Can we have any updates from some one which months application are they processing now?

GCMS NOTES - are essentially all the notes that the visa officer will have on your file basically they tell u whats passed, if your interview is waived or recommended, when was your file last touched, what was the last location of your file etc.......it take 30 days to generate but its all worth the waiting see the link below how to order

well they are still in may applicant and only 1 person from june got in process on this forum.....u can have a look at the spread sheet below my signature...it will help u to know the processing of 2013

myrah once said that you got your wife a toursit wife while she was waiting for her spousal p.r.
i just wanted to ask what happened when you got the PPR. were you able to send it right away? when did you send it? any effects on sponsorship application?

i got the letter of sponsorship approval, but how do you get the fixed date of file transfer as mentioned in your timeline?

how long does it take get the updates you mentioned? so that i dont start banging my head on ecas till then.

Hi All,

I am an Indian working in Kuwait.

1. I wanted to know for sure if I can select New Delhi Visa Office as opposed to Abu Dhabi. I dont prefer Abu Dhabi because the current processing time is approx 22 months.

2. I noticed that New Delhi Visa Office ask for Passport within 2-3 months of applying. I wanted to know if I can send the passport towards the end when the visa office is ready to issue the visa. (One of the forum members: Raman Kaur did mention that I can but want to know how long can I delay sending the passport and will it have any effect on my application)

yes so that's the letter of transfer .......u don't get a date....but it takes 2-3 weeks to come to new delhi ....so next step for u is passport request (ppr) can take 1 week to 2 months
