But i want to know how to do the fingerprints ?? how i have to send ? i mean do i need to get the printout or ??

Below is the link for RCMP website. If you scroll down you will see outside Canada process.

http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm
If you are OUTSIDE OF CANADA :

contact the nearest police force which offers fingerprinting services. The RCMP will accept fingerprint forms from foreign countries that contain the following:

rolled and flat impressions of all ten fingers taken with black ink
full name, date of birth and sex of the applicant
the name and address of the police agency
the signature of the official taking the fingerprints

You don't need to unless they tell u

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/canada.asp

Folks lived here for 3+ years on visit visa, CIC did their own RCMP trace - only in some cases they ask applicants to do RCMP or call to ND for fingerprinting
little relief to hear this. But i want to be on safer side. I think i should get it done for my own benefit even if they ask or not . Bcz if later on they ask me to submit ,then i have to wait atleast one month or so ..

Hi Pooja/Taj,

I am also october applicant, i just received ppr too, it seems they have changed the system of ppr from 15 days to 2.5 months, I hope they haven't increased the process duration.
anyways, I checked with myrah and found the best way to send is by express courier by bluedart or dtdc. I used dtdc and mine was delivered in 1 day and I checked the status it was received at CHC.
add a coverletter '' I am sending you my passport as per your request by email on date.
Attach the ppr letter and send it as one package.

also dont forget to write your application no in cover letter as well as on the envelope at the top.

keep in touch.

Went for MP inquiry yesterday, he said he'll get back to me in 10 days, so the wait begins :( There might have been a bit of yelling and screaming, and I did tell him straight up that I don't want the usual c**p bulls**t generic answer "your file is in queue". Asked him a ton of questions as to why it took the Conservative Government so long to end the strike, why are the processing times increasing even though the immigration minister (Alex something) said that they would clear the backlogs, and decrease processing times but that never materialized and time has gone up to 12 months, on the letter we get e-mailed from the Canadian High Commission Ned Delhi it says that priority is given to Spousal cases but it doesn't seem like they care about spousal cases at all looking at the processing time, and there was a whole page full of other questions, he said he will get back to me and I left the question sheet there. I did print out the spreadsheet and showed him, he seemed intrigued, looked at it for a while, didn't say anything. I told him look at the amount of people suffering. So lets see what comes out of this . . .

you will get your visa soon..NDVO is afraid of trouble makers and MPs too...yelling and screaming is so un Canadian like behavior..a Canadian is one who says sorry when someone bumps in to him...
