Thanks DVA & Anupam for solving decision made query for me.
I already have PR for myself..but baby's doesn't hav visa. The catch is Baby is young so can't leave without her & if visa doesn't come by April my PR status will b in jeopardy don't know wat these fools at NDVO r doing.. There r no verifications needed for infant but still it's been 6 months v hav been waiting post applying. Hope god does some miracle & unites back our family.

to be honest if I were you I would have had the kid in Canada itself...its so difficult when there is a baby involved...

I also applied for my kid in august got ppr in sep lastweek till now no progress on application.heard it will be less than 6 monrhs if children are involved.

Ohh u & I r in the same boat.. I thought I m the only odd one out here. But trust me nothing happened on my application..6months have already passed since application.in fact in my case app was received in July & v got passport request in nov only..hope god showers his blessings to make this speedy

welcome if u call them they never help unless u know the extension no of the VO....otherwise they will ask u to mail them ....lets see what your mp says...

True, even I didn't wanted to land in this problem..but my circumstances were such that I had to come to India for delivery. So now I have to go thru this emotionally tiring process

New Delhi takes a lot of time to respond and at times they don't even reply back which is really sad that shows how much they care abt us that's how we are helpless coz we have no other way to contact them..worst visa office ever..anyways did u send case specific enquiry ? if not u can do that along with mp...wish u loads of luck

any reply coming back from NDVO is like winning a lottery all u can do is try and try till u succeed and right now u guys are in a fix u need to get the visa asap I think mp is the fastest mode of communication with NDVO

Just came back from my MP's office. For starters, the assistant is cute but not as cute as W2E's MP's blond assistant. Nevertheless, the following is the update.

Thanks To Myrah7's tracking sheet, I took a colour print of it along with my Dec 15 GCMS notes. She was very patient listening to my venting and very understanding. The first enquiry she did in Dec first week was with the liaison at immigration minister's office in Ottawa. This time she is going to ask NDVO directly and hope to have an answer. I specifically asked her why my meds is not updated and she agreed and told me that it normally takes 3 months for med's results to be updated. For NDVO, the central office for meds is in London apparently.

Anyway, just like what happened with Myrah7, I am hoping this NDVO enquiry would make my file move.

2 weeks is what she asked and if she does not get any reply from NDVO, she is going to bug minister's liaison again. Fingers crossed.

The spreadsheet helped immensely along with all the knowledge I gathered from this forum. Thanks Myrah7 for maintaining the SS.

My MP is liberal if that matters.

You and me are same timeline and tdy one june applicants got into Ip, I dont know why they dont toucheed our files??
