Hey guys,

I am back with answers to the questions on how my wife interview went. what kind of questions were asked? how long the interview was? Who took the interview?

Basically she was asked lots of questions regarding our marriage ceremony.

Who attend the marriage? Who arrange the marriage? Where are the family members of bride/groom? Show picture? Did you guys have honeymoon? Why and Why not? Who perform the ceremony? How many people in the ceremony? What is the name of the company your spouse work? What is his job position? Did you guys have sex? Why you don't have children? Did you plan to have children or not? Why is there so much age gap? Did you gave money to your husband to come to Canada? Did you receive any money from the spouse? How much? Why? Do you know the family of your husband? Name all the family members? Where they live now? How old are they? Are they married? Do they have children? How long your husband stayed with you? Why was the wedding so short?

My god these are the questions the officer asked her. Also, the officer was from Punjab and a lady. She asked what language she want to have her interview. Most important of all is that THE WAY THEY ASK YOU THE QUESTION IS like a rapid round. 1 after the another and you have little time to tell them. Make sure to take all the prove and pictures of your marriage and after marriage if you did a trip would be helpful. They also ask for the time duration you spend with your spouse.

Let me know if they are any other questions.

good thing I was not part of the conversation that was going on among Myrah, Anupam and Bhatiameghna otherwise I would have been confused about myself....glad Myrah and Anupam were able to make Bhatiameghna laugh and get the stress out...the conversation was too funny....Thanks...So Bhatiameghna send me a personal message if you had solved the puzzle..don't want to take any more pages of this conversation..other forum members may get irritated....today it is going to be a blast of status changes, I hope

rapid questions? am I a criminal or am I attending a job interview? I guess it depends on the officer. Some else went for interview and reported that officer asked simple questions like age, how long married, where husband lives etc...from what you have listed questions were mainly about marriage ceremony, age gap and short duration of spending time with spouse and those were the famous red flags..thanks magessss for the list of questions. It would help for people waiting for interviews. And congrats for a successful interview.

I contacted mp to make enquiry. How long it will take and I hope it's gonna help

mine took two days but all I got was the generic 'you are within your processing time limit, so call us back in December'...Myrah's husband was persistent and did not take this general BS answer. So be persistent and hopefully you will get some real answers to your inquiry.

they just want to know what the sponsored person is planning to do after moving to Canada (it is one of those meaningless questions which everyone answers as 'look for a job in my current field, gain experience and plan to move higher in my career')...do they expect someone to write 'I plan to become a beggar'. Questions like 'are you a member of criminal organization?'; 'are you a terrorist?' are unnecessary and won't get true answers anyway

Hi W2E,

But my application is for my daughter 3 yrs old . As parent i dont know what she will study?. How can kid know all these?

ram

Wow, simply wow. I am a bit disturbed to I see that CIC/NDVO is treating your application like any others instead of super fast tracking. Kids are involved for Pete's sake. They have no heart.

yeah...it is stupid but government applications and forms are insane...not sure if they do it now or not but when someone applies for u.s. green card they were asked to answer questions like 'are you a member of communist party?' 'do you plan to overthrow government?' who in right mind would want to answer 'yes' to these questions and do visa officers actually read answers for these questions....just answer 'I plan to become prime minister and abolish immigration departments'...lol
