Lol - stand by my side in heat (India) and cold (Canada) should be added as part of the wedding kasam's...

I wish - if NDVO kept track of this thread they would eventually develop some sympathy towards us and start uniting us with our SO's...

Plot twist (lol): they are keeping track of this thread and enjoy watching us suffer... :(

(by the way guys I'm part of the 2012 thread - Nov 2012 applicant.)

Heartless indeed - I've always said, I really wish that they (NDVO individuals) undergo this process at least once to realize how difficult it really is.

wow calgary is the one like -35 and its like that for 5 6 months i think....

Nah, that's not true. I have been living in Calgary since 1995, and although it does get down to -35 to -40 at times, it has never stayed at those temperatures for more than 3 days. Even in full winter, the temperature hovers all over the place, one day it will be -10, then the next it will be -25, then the next it will be -5, and occasionally it will go into the + category. The winters in Calgary have been becoming less and less cold lately, also, the winter does not last 6 months, it's a myth :)

thanks....I got a birthday wish card from jetairways chairman as well (of course it is an automated birthday card) but i would rather have a free airline ticket....my brother -in-law once got a card from Obama and was so excited thinking that obama personally remembered to send him letter - acknowledging his letter to him (every conversation he had with relatives somehow ended up in obama's personal letter...example 'the traffic is bad today' 'you think this is bad... washington d.c. must be so bad but obama somehow managed to personally send me a card in spite of the traffic.' go figure how traffic in India correlates with obama). I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was an automated response.

lol i wish u cud get a call from ndvo sayin come wid ur pp ur visa stsmp is ready... ;)

hi, in case of spouse sponsorship, After how long does NDVO requests for passport. Do we have to send it right away or can we wait? because i understand they keep hold of passport for quite sometime.
Does sending passport after 3-4 months makes any difference on the application?
